After a very busy & stressful night, the staff at the hotel Nelligan & Mama C took such good care of us. Their attention to detail & care for clients are unmatched. The food is excellent & the staff is so kind. The chocolate croissant & lattes are my personal favorite, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Gorgeous ambiance in the Nelligan Hotel. Upscale chic decor with lots of natural wood & soft hidden lighting throughout. Perfect spot for either a date or with her together with friends. Service is welcoming & warm. Waitstaff are professional & friendly. Food is superb - lots of creative interpretations of Greek classics & reimagined old school favorites make for an impressive but playful menu. Worth multiple visits!View more

Rolled up to satisfy an octopus craving. Octopus was perfectly cooked (sous vide + grilled), finished with a little crisp on the thin end. I would've preferred the dish to be a little more on the savory side though. There was a layer of onion confit on the Fava bean puree. Delicious, but a little too much sweetness for my taste. The baklava with crême pâtissière, however, was everything! One of the best desserts I've had in a long time 🤤 I started with the Smoked Paloma cocktail, also amazing! A bit of smoke, a bit of heat, a bit of tang, a bit of bitter, a bit of sweet👌🏻The music threw me off. I felt like I was watching one of those long beautiful-landscape YouTube drone videos. Pop songs redone with a Greek musak flair, it's a confusing genre lol I didn't enjoy it. Service was 10/10 thanks to Kim & Alina. Kim helped me select my wine & dessert & was spot on with the dessert. They both took the time to chat, very kind & personable.View more

I recently visited a new restaurant in Montreal, & while the design & vibe were A+ (it gave me Myth in Toronto vibes with the music), the overall experience was hit or miss. The food was a mix of deconstructed dishes that felt like they lacked originality. The lamb skewers were great - meaty & flavorful, but the lobster pasta dish my friends ordered was overpriced for the portion & unfortunately bland. My octopus dish was just okay; the sweet sauce overpowered the flavors I was hoping for. The pastitsio was solid but served in a non-traditional presentation, & I couldn't taste the truffle in the tyropita - the cheese felt too much like cream cheese, & the presentation didn't impress. Service was just okay, though it was surprising they chose to train a new waiter on a busy Friday night (his second shift), which impacted the experience. Overall, not a terrible night, but for the prices (same as Milos), especially on dishes like the lobster pasta, I expected more.View more

This restaurant is a gem! The decor is stunning, & it creates such a welcoming & cozy atmosphere. The food was incredible. The highlight of the evening, though, was the service. The place was beautiful our waiter was very warm & friendly. We came to have dinner on a Saturday night . We had order a drink on the cocktail menu & it was so sweet we had to return it. I definitely recommend the new Mama C restaurant! Beautiful setting, elegant & refined. Lounge section is great for pre or post dinner cocktails. Food was delicious & nice change from the usual Greek restaurant menu. Vasili was great with our group & catered to all our requests. Music was not too loud & we could therefore have conversations without having to raise our voices.View more
