Amazing neighbourhood sushi spot. Family-owned, super friendly. They just opened. Sushi was great, extremely fresh. Prepped in 10min. Totally recommend!

Despite reading some of the reviews complaining about the lack of seasoning, there were enough positive ones. & enticed by their variety of veggie rolls, we decided to try them out. While their service was friendly, I regret to say that we won't likely be ordering again. The rice was way underseasoned, the veggies in the rolls were essentially blanched & unsalted asparagus & peppers (with no sauce at all), & the mayo in the spicy tuna lacked flavour (I had to add hot sauce to it). Of the 5 rolls we received, 4 of them fell apart before even touched.

I noticed only later that customers' criticism was met with either defensiveness or dismissiveness of'personal taste'. Seasoning in sushi rice is not merely a preference, but a culinary craft. I hope that the owners have since taken some of this feedback seriously. 🙏

We ordered party size sushi boxes, everyone was so happy about the sushi, very nice!
Also their cookies are delicious!
