Welcome to The House of Jazz (Maison du Jazz) in Laval! Our Montreal location has been a landmark of entertainment, cuisine, and history. Built by French Montrealer Georges Durst, House of Jazz has been a home to Canada’s finest Jazz musicians since 1981. Place trop charger d'antiquités que s'étouffe, en plus on a pris notre commande à 20:10 puis j'ai reçu ma commande 1h20 après c'était long, service correct, l'ambiance correct mais que j'ai pas aimé il charge $10 par personne de frais de spectacle que j'ai même pas vu car ils nous on placés au fond du deuxième étage ça c est pas correct .View more

We had an amazing time at House of Jazz in Laval for a group party! The atmosphere was fantastic-live music set the perfect vibe for an unforgettable night. One Love Project was hosting the musician jam night, & the talent on stage was incredible. The mix of musicians kept things fresh & exciting, making for a truly special experience.
Beyond the music, the ambiance of the venue is something else! The chandeliers & unique decor give the place a vintage, upscale feel that makes it stand out. It's a setting that feels both elegant & lively, perfect for a night out.
The food & drinks did not disappoint! Their burger was absolutely delicious, & the drinks were well-crafted & hit the spot. The service was friendly & attentive, making sure our group had everything we needed.
If you're looking for a place with great live music, a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, & fantastic food & drinks, House of Jazz is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!View more

The food is not bad, would rate it 3/5 because you won't go there for the amazing food, you should go there for the ambiance, loud live band & outstanding decor. First time was in september & I was with a friend at the bar. We were served by Alex & he was adorable & often asked us if we needed anything. The food was delicious 10/10 We went again last week for a friend's birthday party & the experience was not so great. Service was slow, we waited almost 2 hours to get our food. We had to ask the server for almost everything, he rarely came to check up on us (although i get that it was busy). The final straw was the coatcheck lady being extremely rude to us on our way out. However, the place is very nice, beautiful for pictures, & the live music is very enjoyable. The artists are very talented & take requests which i find is very nice.View more

Une soirée exceptionnelle sur toute la ligne. Nous célébrions l'anniversaire de ma fille & sommes allés à la Maison du Jazz le 20 décembre 2024 au soir. Le décor est à couper le souffle. Art déco, chargé de lustres, d'ornementations & d'éléments décoratifs typiques de cette époque. Nous étions 5 & avons pris cocktails, vin, entrées & repas principal. Chacun de nous a adoré son repas qui était succulent & préparé à la perfection. Les coupes de viande étaient belles & la cuisson à point. & que dire du spectacle! Les artistes sont très généreux & présents. Leur engagement envers la foule était authentique. La chanteuse Venus Mary Grace était si belle, vêtue d'une robe de velours, marabout de plumes, chaussures satinées & gants rouges, elle était comme un rubis entouré de diamants. Elle a été d'une grande gentillesse & générosité envers nous en soulignant l'anniversaire de notre fille de manière inoubliable. Mathilde s'est sentie la reine de la soirée. Bref, c'était une première mais certainement pas une dernière. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour l'ensemble de l'oeuvre & pour vivre une expérience de choix. Manger à côté d'une toilette, c'est non ! Sentir les effluves de caca pendant le repas, c'est dégueulasse. Si vous êtes un couple, c'est cette table qu'on vous donnera même si vous en avez réservé une autre ! Ca tue le romantisme disons. We were a group of 60, served by only one waitress, which was clearly inadequate. Large group reservations should be better planned in advance. The food was inconsistent-some dishes were good, while others missed the mark. Additionally, there's a service charge for the entertainment, even if you're seated in a room with no access to the stage. While the ambiance & decor make this venue appealing, it's best suited for smaller groups of 2-6 people. Unfortunately, they are not equipped to handle larger events effectively. As a family that frequently hosts corporate gatherings, we were disappointed by this experience, as the potential for a great event space was undermined by poor execution.View more
