Nice place to sit & have a cold beer on the patio looking over the square outside in the evening. Lovely staff. Did not try the food but the steaks look amazing.

Il a fallu demander les menus après plus de 15 minutes & la même chose pour commander.
Le café est arrivé pas de sucre ni lait, un autre délai.
Pas terrible comme expérience client.
Nous sommes allés manger hier soir c’était vraiment très bon! Un très bon service le restaurant est vraiment beau & chaleureux! Je recommande vivement!

A couple of weeks ago a girlfriend & I went to eat at Maggie Oakes for dinner. We started our night at the lobby bar where Camillo made us delicious cocktails. We then we're escorted to our table where we had huge oysters & spicy margaritas. Our server Geoffroy was very friendly & knowledgeable. He recommeded the beef tartare & nougat as starters which were bothe delicious. For our mains we shared the aged rib steak & got a flawless bottle of wine that was recommended by sommelier Mr. Hy. Overall warm & friendly staff & great food. A must in the old port ! Highly recommend.
Un gros week-end pour les restaurants du vieux port & ce resto a bien su relever le défi! Malgré l’achalandage, le service était hors pair, le rib steak un des meilleurs que j’ai mangé & on a vraiment apprécié l’accord met-vin proposé par notre serveuse Valerie. Son service était attentionné & professionnel. On reviendra !
A great place to catch up with a friend you haven’t seen in a while! While I was chatting with my friend, we completely forgot to look at the menu. The staff didn’t stress us to order & let us have all the time in the world to chat & order. They have a good variety in foods containing eggs in all different forms, which is a change to your usual brunch meal. Everything is fresh & tastes great- from salty to sweet, there’s something for everyone! Maggie Oakes has a very calm atmosphere, indoors & outdoors. Inside there is even a little clothing & accessory shop & art exhibition. Also a great study spot!
I went with high expectations considering it’s location. Very disappointed.

The breakfast at other chain restaurants are much better in comparison to this place.
L'hôtesse Marie a accueilli notre groupe avec une magnifique sourire & une énergie très chaleureuse. Elle nous à ensuite assis a la meilleure table du restaurant en faisant une petite conversation. Si elle vous accueille vous ne serez pas déçu

Yesterday we had a late lunch/early dinner after a show. We ordered The charcuterie platter to share which was amazing & then our friends shared a steak, my husband had a steak & I had a hamburger. Everything was really delicious. The vegetables were not only beautifully presented, but very tasty as well. The fries were very crispy & everything was well seasoned. Our waitress was Nathalie...she was delightful & made sure we were absolutely satisfied with everything. Thanks you so much for making our afternoon in Montreal fabulous.
