We are traveling from the states & decided to try this restaurant for their mtl tasting menu. Promo was a delight & honestly made our whole evening , I wanted to tip him personally but it is a tip pool system. We are thankful ☺️
We decided to have breakfast at M.O on the second day of our trip to Montreal, Qb. We definitely enjoyed our stay, in particular the Maggie Oakes. Jeremy was very kind & attentive to our order, we had Salmon & eggs benedict, fruits, Croissant & the best Coffee ever, everything was yummy. Jeremy is definitely the best waiter we've ever met, thank you once more! The Chef came to bring our meal, we were just delighted about that. So we decided to come back for dinner, which was also awesome.That was a very good experience indeed!
What a way to start the day! Excellent service from all the staff, I can fairly say that Cam is one of the best at what he does.Not only he helps you to find your perfect drink, but he makes sure you are enjoying it. The cocktails he made for us were astonishing & everything with a smile on his face. With this type of treatment, you have no option but to be happy!

Very nice & calm place, we had the delicious picanha, filet mignon, onion soup & a cheese variety. A bottle of red wine 2021 le Volte dell ornellaia - Toscana IGT
This is my first review ever. We had the best time. Staff was amazing. We had the salmon tartare & the beef tartare for apps...outstanding. I have the filet mignon & my husband had the Kansas cut...we could not describe the taste of the 45 day aged beef adequately... but absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Will do this again when in Montreal.

I rarely review, but wanted to take the time to share a special experience with Maggie Oakes. I wandered into the bar to grab a drink & catch a sporting event, & eventually noticed the spectacular aging room for their beef. I had already eaten that night, but decided to do so again in order to taste a steak. Both Cam & Sess went out of their way to educate & match me with the cut I was looking for, & it didn't disappoint. I dry-age steaks at home in my own dedicated fridge, so am fairly well versed in the process, but must say this was the best I've had in some time. The service & atmosphere took the experience over the top. Thanks Maggie Oaks!
