We were in town for a family event, dined at Maggie Oakes in Old Montreal. Service was impeccable, food was 4 / 5. We enjoyed roasted vegetable soup, salmon tatare, charcuterie Québécois, Filet Mignon, aged Cote de Boeuf for 2. Thank you!
We had our engagement dinner here, & the team was so efficient & adaptable to our needs. Sasha & Catherine were the managers I corresponded with, they had everything ready for the night. Hossein & Emma were our lead servers & they helped organize every detail, ensured the night ran smoothly. They even moved the champagne tower spot for me! The private room fits 30+ people, was wheelchair accessible & the dinner was delicious. The team was lovely, we had the best time

We visited Maggie Oaks over the weekend for dinner with kids. We really enjoyed the experience. Food was great but what made really made the evening was the service

The restaurant is beautiful & i ordered the filet mignon & it was soft & tender but the sauce is my issue. The flavor is so potent that it was overpowering. I ordered fries & they came less than 30 secs & they ended up being super dry. The veggies were delicious though.
Superb dinner. Excellent server, very attentive, & setting on the street was fantastic for people watching. We had oysters & steak with a bottle of Sancerre. Kids menu also very good & they added veggies on request. All meals were excellent & good value too.
Très bon service, ambiance agréable & les plats sont délicieux. Une mention spéciale pour l'accueil agréable & chaleureux de Larissa & Jérémy. C'est définitivement devenu mon resto préféré au vieux port !

Très belle expérience. Les cocktails sont uniques & délicieux. Que dire de la papardelle au homard. Une portion généreuse avec beaucoup de chaire d'homard. Belle sortie entre amie ou en tête à tête.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning inside. The service is also fantastic. The food options sounded great & delicious, but the food itself was okay. We went for brunch & would definitely come back to try their dinner items next time we're in Montreal.
Absolutely delicious! Service & atmosphere was excellent as well. I had the Atlantic sandwich (lobster & shrimp) with salad & broccoli soup. If I lived here, I'd be coming here all the time.

Came to the place with great expectations but left knowing there is much better places where to spend my money. I got an avocado bread breakfast that comes with salad & it came with one tomato even if in the menu the dried tomates are pretty well emphasized. The bread was way too small, the vinaigrette had no particular taste. I asked for a side order of Bénédictin sauce for my pocket eggs & I found the sauce mediocre, almost tasteless & it costed me 4$. I might come back for a coffee to enjoy the beautiful view of old port on their terrace. Won't be expending more than 10$.
It's located in unique & vibrant Old Montreal. They offer dry-aged meats. The 45 days aged rib steak was awesome, rich flavor, tender & marbled. We were there at 9:30pm, didn't want to eat two much, but we didn't think the 20oz rib steak was enough for three of us lol, so delicious. The goat cheese was amazing, rich, smooth & creamy. The flank steak was so so, a bit dry.
On a beautiful summer day in Montreal, we enjoyed the outdoor terrace at Maggie Oakes. The food was really delicious & I would rate the Ceasar salad one of the best I ever had. It's always busy, so try to arrive earlier. You can go inside to cool down & see the beautiful hotel.
I decided to celebrate my birthday at Maggie Oakes this year & had no regrets other than missing out on their terrasse experience! By the time I was making a reservation about a week in advance their terrasse was already booked up so I went with a table inside. Our server Alec was exceptional, not only from the traditional point of view of being a professional with quick & friendly service but also going an extra mile to take pictures of us, 7 girls with very specific instructions LOL. Their steaks are amazing & they have enough vegetarian options to also satisfy non-meat-eating appetites in the group. Appetizers are really unique & flavorful. The drinks are nice & boozy unlike other places that charge you the same prices but put half a shot of alcohol & fill the glass with ice until it overflows.
