Reviews indicate that Madras Curry House delivers authentic South Indian flavors with generous portions and good value, featuring favorites like idli, uttapam, dosas, sambar and chutneys, plus standout dishes such as chicken curry and mutton kothu roti; the food is described as fragrant, well spiced, and comforting, often paired with warm hospitality. While the kitchen can be small and wait times may occur, diners repeatedly praise consistent quality and the friendly, unobtrusive service, making it a favorite option for South Indian meals in Montreal and a true hidden gem.
A pleasant surprise in Montreal looking for authentic South Indian food. Salt lassi, vada/sambhar/ idli & chutney was excellent. Taste from chennai, was a great feeling & satisfying.
Tried the biryani 65 chicken with rice , i was hooked after the first bite , so flavourful & delicious, perfectly executed, service was very friendly , i will be a regular from this day forward
Wow, what a surprisingly good meal! Partner had chicken korma which was ok but chicken&potato dosa was amazing! Well spiced, with 3 interesting sauces (only one was too salty), a huuge crepe-like thingy with fresh & nicely spiced chicken inside. Also, a huge plus for mango lassi which was not too sweet & just the right balance between mangoey & milky.
Had gone here during lunchtime Ordered sweet lassi, mysore masala dosa, samosa chat, & pav bhaji. Mysore masala dosa were very tangy Pav bhaji was sweet Chat was ok Overall, it was a very bad experience

No AC working. The food was so spiced up or too much masala. Not for everyone. Medu vada were great but again spiced with green chili. Wasted our dinner.
This is absolutely delicious, authentic South Indian fare. The ambience leaves something to be desired, but the food makes the meal more than worth it. Highly recommend if you're in the Montreal area & seeking a dosa or other South Indian khana
Worst! Tell customer what of kind of Naan you are going to provide. I can get your same Naan from wholesale market. If you are not make authentic Naan. Don't charge with over price. Totally disappointed. Waste of my money & time.i ordered garlic Naan & I think you don't have ready made one. You delivered where I can buy it from local stores all regular Naan. I am wondering how you running your business. I think you are making fool out of customer. I will visit you in person soon & review.
Food was excellent Restaurant looks good inside but from the outside, I think lot of tourists will not go inside. Do something to make it outside more attractive to step inside
