Ok place, nothing special, I won't be back. For some reason we had like 6 different people serving us - maybe because we were sitting outside? Everyone who served us was pleasant & nice otherwise, but we had to repeat requests a couple of times to different people to make sure it was heard . Tuna salad might use more tuna & more salt, tuna was underseasoned. Ribs so praised in the comments were falling of the bone but under seasoned as well - I asked for more bbq sauce for dipping because they lacked flavor somehow & were somewhat dry. Table next to us also asked to bring salt.
My recent visit to Madison was great, & a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Nessa, who delivered some of the best service I've experienced. From the moment we were seated, she struck the perfect balance of warm, friendly energy & professional attentiveness. She checked in often enough that we always felt looked after, but never in a way that interrupted the flow of our meal. It's rare to find someone who can read a table so naturally, & Nessa absolutely excelled.
We ordered a mix of dishes; Soho chicken, ribs, calamari, & chicken tenders & everything arrived beautifully timed & piping hot. The Soho chicken was tender & flavourful, with that perfect balance of seasoning that makes you want to slow down just to savour it. The ribs were fall?off?the?bone soft, coated in a sauce that was rich without being overwhelming. The calamari was crisp & light, not greasy at all, & the chicken tenders were surprisingly juicy, with a great crunch that made them feel like more than just a simple side.
What really elevated the whole experience was how seamlessly Nessa tied everything together. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask refills, extra napkins, small touches that make a meal feel effortless. Her genuine kindness & attention to detail made the evening feel special, not just like another dinner out.
Overall, Madison delivered on both food & service. We left full, happy, & already talking about coming back. Highly recommended.
Feels like a vintage steak house. Well spaced tables, dim lighting, music not too loud, very cozy. The menu is a no fluff basic steak house menu, which was amazing. Got a full rack of ribs with fries. The portion was insane!!!!! Also ordered the nachos with spinach dip as a shared entree. Delicious!!!!! Friend ordered the grilled tube salade. Loved it!!! Will be going back.
I had a strong craving for steak. Chose the Rib Steak. It was tough. Hard to cut. Chose the pepper sauce, it came in a very small cup, not as it is pictured in photos. The mashed potatoes were bland, tasted acceptable with the sauce, but there wasn't enough to make the steak palatable, let alone the mashed potatoes.
Re: Atmosphere, there was a father with his kids. His voice disciplining his kids was higher than the kids.

Great place, amazing food & good customer service, definitely enjoyed my time there & their ribs were very delicious! Highly recommend this spot if you stop by Laval, you will definitely not be disappointed
The burger was really good, while the fried chicken was pretty average. The BBQ pork ribs had a different & interesting flavor that I enjoyed. The staff were kind & respectful, which made the experience even better.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant for a Saturday dinner at 5:30pm.
Reservations are easy to make & recommended as the dining room fills up quickly for dinner. You can make reservations online for parties of 5 or less but you need to call the restaurant directly for parties of 6 or more.
Their online menu is mobile friendly & very easy to navigate & read; same applies to their in house menu. The restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol.
There is plenty of free parking in the adjacent parking lot.
Our server was absolutely perfect; friendly, social, professional & gave great service.
The interior of the restaurant was clean & well maintained. The chair's seating is padded & very comfortable. I was surprised to see a lot of children in the restaurant, which increased the noise level.
They currently have a nice selection of summer cocktails with the strawberry lychee mojito being a big hit.
Caesar Salad - the starter salad is a very decent portion & more then enough for 2 prople to share. The dressing was tasty but we found the croutons bland (not a big fan of croutons to begin with) & the bacon was a strip served on the top of the salad. It is a different way to serve it but we prefer a more traditional approach by having the bacon chopped up & mixed in as it helps increase the flavour of the salad.
Fried squid - perfectly cooked & seasoned! Definitely not over cooked like so many other restaurants do.
Pork ribs - so moist, perfectly cooked & the bbq sauce was delicious. You dont need a knife & can easily pull them apart or use a fork to split. The coleslaw was well seasoned & tasty. You get a huge pile of fries & they are crispy & delicious.
Whole Ribs & Chicken Tender Combo - the ribs are described as above but the chicken tenders are quite good. Nice, thick pieces of chicken. They were tender & lightly coated so they are nice & crispy yet still moist. The only thing to change is they need to be seasoned as they are quite bland. Season the chicken & the coating.
Cheeseburger Madisons - well cooked & seasoned & a nice big portion.
Filet mignon - 7 oz, was perfectly cooked & seasoned.
Chicken & avocado salad - This is a large bowl & will definitely satisfy your taste buds & hunger. The chicken was beautifully cooked & moist. These also lacked seasoning. The mixed seasonal greens, topped with avocados, hearts of palm, artichokes & grilled peppers all worked well together & complemented each other. The dressing was a perfect pair with a nice, zesty tang.
We were too full for dessert however a few of us did enjoy a nice cappucino. They also have decaf cappuccino which is great for those who can't do late day caffeine.
Our overall experience was very good; from the clean parking lot, to the clean interior, excellent service & food. We would definitely recommend this restaurant & will definitely be returning.
