Review Summary

Madame Thai is widely regarded as a charming destination for authentic Asian cuisine in Longueuil, noted for its inviting atmosphere, beautiful decor, and generous portions of homemade dishes like pad thai and flavorful soups. Many visitors appreciate the attentive and professional service, making it a suitable spot for both casual meals and celebrations. While the majority of guests have a positive experience, some recent reviews highlight concerns regarding inconsistent temperature control within the dining room during colder months, occasional lapses in service speed, and mixed feedback on the consistency of certain menu items. Despite these critiques, the restaurant remains a popular choice for those seeking a welcoming vibe and consistently well-prepared, flavorful meals.

On our 4th day of our F1 trip, we stumbled upon a hidden gem in the suburbs of Longueuil - Madame Thai. & let me tell you, it was an absolute delight!

This restaurant is a must-visit in Longueuil & totally worth the trip. It's clean, inviting, beautifully lit, spacious, & decorated. The weather was a bit mild, so we ended up sitting inside, but the patio area is one of the best I've seen for an Asian cuisine.

The food was like sitting at your own kitchen table after a long search for the perfect Thai Soup & stir-fry recipe. Everything was cooked to order & seriously homemade with authentic recipes. We had two types of soup - a creamy coconut milk-based one & a spicier one. Our entry was ginger-fried rice with chicken & a medley of veggies. It was absolutely amazing, just like being back in your own kitchen.

So, if you're looking for a quaint spot with great drinks, food, & a mature vibe, I highly recommend Madame Thai. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I was here for a quick dinner & had a simple dish: fried rice with chicken. I was expecting the regular fare like you get similar places, but the taste was next level. Very authentic, probably the best place for Thai cuisine in the south shore area.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but unfortunately, the quality seems to have declined. The mangos used to make the mango salad were not ripe: may as well have been an apple salad. The dumplings were laughable & the curry was soupy & bland. The rolls were meh & the wine was too warm. The cashew chicken was still very good though. I hope they take note of this review & bring their quality back up: they are better than this.

We came here with a big group for dinner on Thursday night, with a reservation, & had a pretty decent experience! The service was a little slow, in that I ordered a drink & had to remind the waiter that I hadn't received it yet, but he brought it out shortly thereafter. I ordered a Tropical Sangria & it was good, but lacking in alcohol. Very pretty though! Others in my party had the mocktails & said they were good! For mains, I ordered the Thai Basil Chicken which I enjoyed. Fair warning that it is spicy! But the portion is HUGE. I had my fill & leftovers to go, which was great. Others ordered General Thai Chicken, which was good if not a little bland; Red Curry, which was enjoyed; Chicken Pad Thai, which was not enjoyed; & Madame Thai Beef, which was another big portion & good. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Madame Thai & would recommend it to others, if you enjoy Thai food. The atmosphere is great, brightly lit space & a lot of room between the tables.
