Review Summary

Lulu Épicerie is described as a vibrant, authentic Lebanese spot with fresh, flavorful dishes and a lively vibe, where shawarma and manakeesh are repeatedly praised for tenderness and bold flavors, and garlic potatoes or batata harra are standout sides. The food is seen as fresh and thoughtfully prepared, offering a sense of home, with quick service and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and occasional Arabic music; the space is limited, lending a takeout vibe. Reviewers often call it among the best shawarma in Montreal and a top Lebanese option, though some note price concerns or inconsistent quality, and a few visits when items were unavailable. Overall, it is highly regarded for authentic flavors, good value for the area, and a warm experience that keeps customers returning.

For a lebanese grocery style shop, really empty & soulless in terms of interior design. Food & people are great however. Takeout is the best option.

Had their Zaatar extra (with veggies), their cheese, & cheese & zaatar mankouche! The dough is light, delicious, & has the perfect crunch to it. Their cheese mix is to die for - tastes like the one back in Lebanon. Can't wait to come back & try their Shawarma & grill sandwiches!

No other place for shawarma. Nothing in Montreal beats lulu's shawarma wraps.(I've tried the highest reviewed shawarma places) Though I don't recommend their fries.

I have been a big fan of this place ever since it opened. The manousheh is spectacular so different from other places. The shawarma both meat & chicken were great but I tried them both today & they are dry with no taste whatsoever. Dunno what happened to this place, disappointing.

(During the beirut event) Very rude bartender that was literally FORCING me to give him a 2dollars tip (for ordering a beer) otherwise « he would just drink it himself ». When I ended up giving it to him he gave me the beer aggressively, spilling some on the floor. I gave it back to him the same way, & he started shouting « get out of here, I am the owner of this place » The place itself looks nice & I didn't have time to try the food, but I am definitely not coming back.

The most perfect authentic Lebanese sandwiches in Montreal! Everything was fresh & delicious! The Shawarma Poulet divine. As was a variety of the mannkeesh we tried. Highly recommend you visit when in the area.

Food was delicious, generous portions & filling. Employees were very friendly & helpful. There were tables to sit down but we got take out. We ordered a mixed grill platter & some sandwiches & they cut them up to make it easy for us all to eat & share.

The food here is out of this world good. Being from Ottawa & totally spoiled with 🇱🇧 options, the bar was high. But Lulu's is better than anything I've tried because of the sheer variety of fabulous choices. All the ingredients are so good & their bread is what sets them apart in so many ways. BTW, I happened to be there during the street festival & the Euro final between 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 & 🇪🇸!

Visiting from Boston & I will say it's the best manoushe & shawarma we've had in Montreal, & we've tried plenty. To add to the great food we received warm hospitable service from the staff. Can't wait to come back
