Middling between a bakery, grill & bodega – this Lebanese establishment has it’s focus on sandwiches & manakeesh flatbreads. This isn’t your normal shwarma experience with the topping laid out for you to pick. The sandwich toppings are preset & non-typical. It is quite light on the the toppings however, resulting in a smaller sandwich. The house-baked bread they used for the sandwich really made a difference, so much better than the bought-&-sold pitas most places use. Seating is limited but available. The service was pretty good as well.
The boys here know what they’re doing. True feeling of being in Lebanon & the food is awesome. Quick bite or sit in the park behind you’ll really enjoy your moment here.

�: En partageant une assiette à 3, nous avons trouvé que c'était très bon, bien que légèrement cher, mais la variété était au rendez-vous.
Cependant, à mon avis, il manquait de diverses sauces pour accompagner l'assiette, & le service, bien que correct, manquait de sourire & de présence. Nous avons dû nous servir nous-mêmes pour l'eau. Malgré ces détails, ça vaut la peine d'essayer.
We came to Lulu for lunch. The menu offers between 15 to 20 choices. We were recommended to choose the original version instead of the pita version for our shawarmas. The original version is served with a thin, crispy & delicious "flour" tortilla. The beef shawarma is stuffed with plenty of meat.
If I could give more stars I would. Youssef & his colleagues were so warm & made genuinely the best Manoush & Shawarma I’ve had in a long time. So so good & incredible hospitality that would make me come back here any time I’m in the area. Highly recommend! 😊
I just get annoyed when a shop hypes itself up so much while you're there. Just keep everything humble & simple. Merch too is a nice way to generate additional income, but don't let that get to your head either.
Amazing food! We had the mixed grill takeout, which includes different meats, vegetables, pita, hummus, & garlic sauce. All of the meats were tasty & well balanced. It’s a great place to try a new experience.
