I wanted to try this place for a long time I got the halloumi grilled cheese
The lettuce inside was old & it was very sloppily put together …
The guy at the counter was also on his cell phone the entire time - even while he was taking my order. He even rushed through my order to get back to his phone call…
Really horrible service & bad quality food

J'ai commandé sur uber… c'est décevant. 30$ pour une salade fattoush avec halloumi… 4-5 petits morceaux de halloumi & la salade n'est pas si bonne que ça. Je ne recommande pas, c'est beaucoup trop cher.

I tried the French fries with za'atar, the halloumi burger, & the grilled halloumi sandwich - everything tasted amazing! I loved the place & would definitely go again. The service is excellent, & the staff are really friendly. The iced tea is delicious & perfectly balanced - not too sweet!

I'm baffled by the high ratings. Loumi seems like it was made to fit a hype trend that fell off some years ago. The halloumi sandwich on it's own rang me about $16, for a non-meat item with no sides this is high. I really was not won over by the marinated, grilled halloumi cheese as a substitute for a burger patty. It just did not work. The ingredients were good but the idea was just not landing with me. The restaurant is very small with only a few counter seats.

I went to the Jean Talon Market location. I got the halloumi burger & fries with Zaatar & it was really good. The halloumi was fried & crispy & it was a delicious meal! Also the fries were nice & got a peach & hibiscus lemonade which was also really good.

Gourmet fast food made fresh. The Loumi poutine had the best squeaky halloumi curds, & we couldn't believe how delicious the fried halloumi sticks & chicken sandwich were. We'd tried the fried chicken sandwich before but the marinated one was exceptionally yummy. Wait time is about 5 minutes. Sad they were out of cookies though. Love those too.

J'ai commandé par UberEats il y a environ un mois la salade fattoush, j'avais de grandes attentes envers ce restaurant & j'avais hâte de l'essayer. Lorsque j'ai reçu ma commande & ouvert le tout, j'ai réalisé que j'avais 4-5 morceaux miniatures de fromage halloumi & aucune pomme grenade. Je m'attendais à avoir une bonne portion d'halloumi pour une salade à $20. J'ai été très déçu. J'ai écrit directement à Loumi, mais on a simplement ignoré le tout & je n'ai jamais eu de retour.

La cuisine de ce resto : tellement une bonne idée.
Les limonades sont succulentes & rafraichissantes! Vous ne trouverez pas ça ailleurs!
Les frites au zaatar ont été mon coup de coeur. Le burger, les bâtonnets & le halloumi/melon, délicieux.
J'y retournerai quand j'irai à Montréal!
Très bon service! Bravo!

Nous avons découvert la cuisine du chef Amine!!
Nous avons pris le burger halloumi ainsi que le grilled cheese halloumi. Tellement savoureux & succulent mariage des saveurs!
Nous avons pris la Louminade qui est rafraîchissante!
Venez pour manger sur place ou emporter, vous serez comblés!!

Restaurant incontournable de halloumi. Le menu est varié : burgers, grilled-cheese, wraps, salades, bols & poutine! La majorité des plats contiennent du halloumi & ceux-ci sont agencés à des aliments/sauces qui balancent le côté salé du fromage. Tout est fait maison : la limonade, les sauces, les sirops, les boules d'aubergines, les halloumi pannés, etc.
Amine & Karim sont très sympathiques & veulent le meilleur pour leurs clients.
Le poulet est halal.
Mes recommandations : burger au poulet, melon d'eau avec halloumi, bâtonnets loumi, salade fattoush & louminade.

Kind service & delicious food. The flavor of the chicken burger was fantastic, loved the fresh touch with the green apple slices & mint. The halloumi sticks were crispy & tangy with the pomegranate. The rose-flavored lemonade could've done with a bit more rose flavor, but opinions are sure to differ on this & it was still very tasty. Highly recommended overall! 😋

I had the veggie wrap. The pita & the potatoes (zaatar on top) are delicious. The fillings are good enough although I think for that price they can put more halloumi & less salad. Overall, very good option for vegetarians. Also the girl at the counter was super friendly & kind!

Wanted to like it, was looking forward to a good Halloumi sandwich. Took the grilled cheese, the only thing I tasted was the bland mayonnaise. The fries were soaked throughout in oil with a few sprinkles of zaatar. The peach limonade so sweet I could not drink it. Might have been a bad day for the cook. Good concept.

We tried Loumi at marche Jean Talon for the first time. Having recently come back from Lebanon (the land of Halloumi cheese), I can easily say that Loumi reminded me of Lebanon. They have managed to add a modern & unique twist to the traditional halloum cheese, all while keeping all the flavours that remind you of home; from the pomegranate molasses, to the mint, the fresh & juicy watermelon, the sumac & the zaatar. We tried the zaatar fries, the halloumi fattoush, the watermelon halloumi, & a lemonade with zaatar & sumac. If you're having loumi on a hot summer day, the watermelon halloumi with a side of zaatar lemonade with sumac is a must!!

Great good for sure. Definitely could use a lot more spice on the new spicy chicken. Also another idea is to actually marinate the halloumi cheese to give a different type of savoury flavour option the burgers were amazing. The Favourite was the Watermelon halloumi salad.

I wanted to like it, but it was very disappointing. The crispy chicken burger was flavorless, the zaatar fries were soggy, the halloumi was soft & wet, & my peach tea tasted like watered down lemonade.Not worth the price.
