Super expérience au Lola Rosa! Nous avons eu un service au top avec Juliette qui s'est très bien occupé de nous. Le repas était très bon, mais légèrement trop epicé !
Très content, je recommande
Wonderful & very delicious food! I had the Montreal Smoked Meat which was so tasty. Mybpartner had the meatballs that were the best I ever had. To finish, the chocolate caramel tart was the perfect dessert to complete a rich meal. Everytime I'll visit Montreal I will make sure I stop by Lola Rosa!
Discover the best in healthy eating at Lola Rosa, a cozy spot within our beloved chain. Take a delightful break from meat & indulge in a fresh burst of green goodness that your body will thank you for. : )
Had a great dinner at Lola Rosa! This is our go-to spot for a delicious & healthy vegan meal. We got the tartare, nachos, curry & brownie (the curry is my favourite!). Our server Louise was super friendly, attentive & all-around fantastic! Thank you so much! Will be back again soon! :)
Fantastic first visit to Lola Rosa. The server was incredibly friendly & welcoming. Food was delicious & flavorful (we had the tacos & burrito) & the portions were generous. will absolutely return!!
Indice valeur prix: ( 4 / 5 )
Food & service is always great! Have been going to this Lola for 8 years now & can't complain. Highly recommended!
My husband & I ate at this cozy restaurant yesterday evening & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the hemp burger with salad & he had the braised tofu dish. Dessert was the lemon square & sorbet. Everything was super yummy! Our waitress Meadow was absolutely stellar! Lola Rosa...whatever you're paying her... it's not enough! We very much appreciated her positivity & friendliness! Five stars all around for our evening at Lola Rosa!
A comfy, small sit-down, vegan restaurant in Milton-Parc, by McGill University, has lots of delicious options. Tried the Gyro & Lola's Cheesesteak sandwiches, both were excellent, as was the chocolate caramel pie😋 The sweet potato wedges were a little too soft for my liking, but tasted fine. Prices are reasonable, & there's an alcohol/cocktail menu. Went for lunch on a Thursday, & even though it was busy, the food arrived at a decent time. Our server was welcoming, knowledgeable & jovial. Keep in mind that parking in this area is hard to find. We found parking on Avenue du Parc, a couple of blocks over. I highly recommend Lola Rosa on Milton!
I got the vegan gyro sandwich at Lola Rosa & let me tell you it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in my life. As a vegetarian it's so hard to find sandwiches that are high in protein & delicious. This sandwich exceeded my expectations, & contained unique ingredients like grilled seitan & vegan tofu feta- these are plant-based protein variations that I've never tried before. The innovation is amazing. I would 100% reccomend this restaurant to any vegan/vegetarian who is visiting Montreal. I will be back again (hopefully when I get into McGill!!!) Update: It was so good, I came back the next day & ordered the same thing!
Visiting from out of town & found this place after walking around McGill & could not be happier with the find! Absolutely loved everything about Lola Rosa & all the small touches that made the space even more special (the notes in the drawers were so cute). We had a primarily vegetarian group & everyone was so excited about all the options & the service was phenomenal. The beet tartare was a crowd pleaser & the lasagna was the perfect end to our night. Could not recommend them enough!
Lola Rosa in Montreal is a fantastic spot for vegan dining! The staff are incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain each dish & make recommendations. The Gyro sandwich is an absolute must-try-flavorful & satisfying. The chili is excellent, hearty, & packed with taste. The queso burrito is another winner, bursting with deliciousness. Don't miss out on the lemon pie; it's a perfect balance of sweet & tart. Overall, Lola Rosa offers a delightful vegan experience that leaves you wanting more!
During my last day in Montreal, I researched the best vegetarian-friendly restaurants in Montreal, & Lola Rosa appeared. I'm so glad I decided to make the trip (it's located in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood). I received the best service from the lovely server, Meadow, & the owner, Eric, who gave the most vibrant explanation of the menu. The Caesar salad & cheesesteak were to die for. I was happily full but still had a delicious mango basil sorbet. I absolutely loved my time in Montreal, but Lola Rosa was the icing on the cake! I recommend this plant-based diets & meat waters alike!
I've come to Lola Rosa many times & have always enjoyed it, often recommending it to others. However, my most recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth-& not because of the food, but because of the service. Our first server was lovely, but the server who handled our checks behaved in a way that I found very inappropriate. My friend skipped the tip option on the machine, & the server snatched the machine out of her hand, canceled the transaction, & stated that tipping was mandatory! As a bartender/server myself, I agree that you should always tip your waitstaff, & I always do, even for just a coffee. I understand how frustrating it can be not to receive a tip, but the reality is that tipping is optional. If that's something you can't handle, you shouldn't be a server. & if your restaurant wants to mandate tipping, that's fine, but you should remove the "no tip" option from the debit machine & inform your customers of your tipping policy as soon as you seat them. Personally, I will not be coming back to this location.
Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Lola Rosa. La cuisine était excellente , le tofu bien cuisiné & le dessert était parfait !
I have been going to Lola Rosa for many many years off & on. I just returned to see the restaurants painted "waiting room" colour with absolutely no character or homey energy in the space. The only charm left were the tables with the drawers holding the lovely notes. As soon as I saw the menu I knew I should have left. It was not the same eclectic diverse culinary experience. The very same menu as the Lola on William ,feels like an airplane menu. I lived in the building on William & the Lola there was horrible & expensive. I ordered the "philly cheese steak" & when the waitress put it in front of me it was absolutely terrible to look at food just slapped on a plate. I did not order the salad that comes with this item because as I looked at the other tables the salad looked like someone put their hand in a mixed salad bag from the grocery store & put dressing on it. The sandwich had three red peppers strips the size of a golf pencil , onions & the main "meat". Half was overcooked & half was undercooked. I ordered a skimpy non alcoholic raspberry lemonade. $30 with tip. Bread, satay? & a drink. I died a little inside. This was my most favourite place. The food was always memorable. They also didn't have many items on the menu & ran out of feta. The server was nice. I do not recommend to visit Lola Milton or place Des arts if you are visiting & googled "vegan restaurants". Sorry. :(
i didn't know vegetarian food could be good until i tried lola rosa. i came here often as a mcgill student when i lived in the neighborhood & my favourites were the spinach lasagna & the nachos. the little drawers at each table made each visit memorable. my friends & i loved to read the notes & add our own to the collection.
We have been longtime patrons of Lola Rosa & really enjoy the food & service. But as a neighbour all I can say about the establishment is meh. If they way they manage their wastes is any indication of the respect they show towards their neighbours this scene outside doesn't paint a very pretty picture. & it wasn't even garbage day!
LOVE the Lola Rosa'family'! It's my go-to when I'm in Montreal. Milton is charming, intimate, relaxed & the staff are welcoming. The menu is simple & everything is delish. The sangria is yum. Be sure to check out the drawers at each table which contain notes/messages from previous diners. Bon appetit!
I've been coming here for the last 4 years & everytime the food & service has been spectacular. The nachos are so unique & full of flavor, I would recommend everyone to try it. The Milton branch of Lola Rosa is definitely better in terms of food & service than the Place des Arts one, speaking from experience of visiting both on several occasions. Vegan food at its best
