L'Oeufrier establishes a distinctive presence in the local food scene by centering its menu around egg-based culinary creations and creative pancake preparations. The kitchen emphasizes versatility through a wide array of toppings, ranging from fresh fruits and creamy chocolate drizzles to savory meats and aged cheeses. Signature offerings include oversized folded crepes and protein-heavy plates that anchor the expansive menu selection. The atmosphere prioritizes functional design to accommodate high-volume service while maintaining a clear focus on the preparation of classic comfort foods. Each dish features locally sourced ingredients to ensure consistent quality across all flavor profiles provided to the public. These carefully constructed meals highlight the technical precision involved in balancing sweet and savory flavor components within a fast-paced environment that remains strictly dedicated to high-performance food delivery.
L'Oeufrier is widely regarded as a solid destination for breakfast and brunch, frequently praised for its extensive menu, generous portion sizes, and consistent food quality. Many visitors highlight the delicious offerings, such as the egg benedicts, crepes, and fresh fruit, alongside a variety of refreshing smoothies and quality coffee. While the atmosphere is generally described as cozy, charming, and welcoming, the dining experience can be inconsistent due to fluctuations in service speed, occasional understaffing, or long wait times during peak hours. Although the vast majority of patrons enjoy friendly, efficient service and appreciate the inclusive menu options, including gluten-free choices, a minority of customers have reported frustrations regarding kitchen coordination, temperature issues, or lapses in customer communication. Overall, it remains a popular choice for those seeking a hearty, traditional brunch in a vibrant setting.
We waited for too long before our server came to take our order & we were not even offered water until we asked for it. When the food finally arrived, everything was completely cold - the eggs, potatoes, & crepes. The matcha drink did not taste like matcha. We also had to find our server to check on the bread that was supposed to come with the order. The bread arrived at least 10 minutes after our already cold meals. It was a very disappointing experience.
Stopped by during the week when it was nice & quiet. The service was good, & my food arrived quickly. I really enjoyed the egg omelet with mashed potatoes. Definitely a solid spot!
YUM. I had a salmon eggs benny & my partner had a bunch of stuff! So yummy, large portions. Super satisfied & will be back again! Great service as well. Overall excellent experience!

We had such a wonderful experience at L'Oeufrier! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm & welcoming, the staff were so friendly & genuinely made us feel at home. The fresh juice was perfectly refreshing, the kind of simple detail that starts your brunch off right.
I ordered Le Touriste Perdu au Centre-Ville D'Amos, one egg, mushrooms, parmesan shavings, truffle, & arugula, & it was divine. The flavours were so well balanced, earthy & rich yet light at the same time. We also tried the Tartine à guacamole, which was both creative & delicious, fresh with just the right amount of zest.
The vibe is cute, cozy, & full of charm, & the food honestly exceeded expectations. If you're looking for a brunch spot that delivers on flavour, friendliness, & fun, L'Oeufrier is the place. We can't wait to come back! 🥂🍳
We went for breakfast today. The food was not bad but service was terrible: The waiter was arrogant & not helpful. He was not happy when my son was hesitant about his order & wanted to stop the order instead of taking the ones from the rest of us & come back to him. My eggs came with shives even though it was not put in the menu, when i said i dont like shives he said he can only change it if pay 50% of a new order. In addition he got me the wrong coffee. I will never go back there.
We tried this place while visiting Montreal. Service was very slow, 2 waitresses & a buss boy during peak hours does not work. Waited 30 min to get seated & waited 20 min to place our order. Another 40 min & our food finally came out, which was okay but my eggs came out wrong. Service was a let down for me. We never got water, coffee refills & we had to ask 3 times to get the check.
We ate here twice on our two nights in Montreal. It was right down the street from our hotel & the food / service was so great the first time, we came again the next day. Over the course of the 2 breakasts, we had: Crepes w/ Fruit & Cream; Waffle w/ Fruit & Cream; Chorizo/Eggs/peppers/goat cheese in a French Toast Wrap; Chorizo Bowl w/ Goat Cheese. I loved my crepes / waffles & thought that the fruit was so fresh / tasty. I loved the cream on the waffles / crepes too. My husband loved both of his dishes. The French Toast Wrap was quite decadent with the 2 wraps & potatoes so he did not eat it all. He would have had I let him, however! Our service was great & would recommend the restaurant to everyone.
🍽FOOD - we ordered two types of beni, we weren't asked about the type of egg, so one was runny, & the other one was semi boiled. It came with a fruit bowl & salad/potato which I liked. But the bread wasn't good. 👨🍳SERVICE -very kind & attentive 🏡AMBIANCE - it was ok & washroom was clean. 💰VALUE - $50
There was around 30-minute waiting... We had grilled brie cheese sandwich with mushroom, eggs benedict ,fried potatoes, crepe, cheese omelete... The taste was fine... I would have appreciated better service from them though.. the server wasn't a good listener & didn't bring the eggs as asked.... Prices wise it was much better than having at the other place round the corner.
