J'aime habituellement commander dans ce restaurant. Le menu est varié &, en temps normal, la nourriture est satisfaisante. Malheureusement, mon expérience de ce matin a été très décevante.

J'ai commandé un déjeuner classique & les pommes de terre étaient clairement loin d'être fraîches. Elles semblaient avoir passé de très nombreuses heures sur une plaque chauffante. Plusieurs morceaux étaient desséchés & extrêmement durs, non pas parce qu'ils étaient mal cuits, mais parce qu'ils semblaient avoir séché. Certains étaient même croustillants. À une bouchée, j'ai eu l'impression qu'il y avait du sable ou des particules dans les pommes de terre, au point où cela m'a levé le coeur & j'ai cessé d'en manger immédiatement.

Le pain doré était tout aussi décevant. Il n'avait pratiquement pas été trempé dans la préparation aux oeufs. Résultat : il était sec, difficile à couper & n'avait ni la texture ni le goût attendus d'un pain doré.

Considérant le prix des déjeuners, particulièrement lorsqu'on commande par DoorDash, je m'attends à un minimum de soin dans la préparation des repas. Un déjeuner est généralement un plat simple à réussir, mais celui-ci a complètement raté la cible. J'espère que la direction portera attention à la qualité des aliments servis ainsi qu'à la formation de son personnel en cuisine.

Coup de coeur pour l'originalité des noms des plats sur le menu & la variété. Un peu surpris que le café ne soit pas inclus dans le prix mais comme il semble y avoir un effort d'utiliser des produits locaux, cette'surcharge' est plus facile à accepter & nous donne de contribuer à l'achat local.
