Fried chicken was burnt & tasted cheap , the almost inedible spicy sauce somewhat saved it. I don't understand the hype. Stop tolerating these kind of overpriced establishments. Even Caribbean Food Factory has way way better quality food than this, specially fried chicken. Nice looking spot though
We ordered through Skip & we loved it! The chicken jerky plate was really delicious & flavorful. My favorite was the spicy beef patty! Definitely a must try!😋
Was bricklaying in the area before christmas & tried the jerk poutine for lunch food tasted great & nice quantities
I ordered the jerk chicken, with brown rice & peas, & plantain. The chicken was done well, with a little kick to it, but not too much. The plantain was cooked well & not dried out. The rice was good but missing gravy which makes a big difference. Make sure to ask for gravy! Other than that, the price was very good.
The plantains are absolutely disgusting! How do you mess you plantains? I would suggest cutting it smaller so it cooks better. The slices are too huge, brown on the outside but raw on the inside. The oxtail was burnt & tough.
No meat on the oxtail & the rice it's like uncle Ben. So peas on it.
It wasn't what I expected but the Jamaican food options did hit the spot. I tried the never before heard of jerk pork patty flavor explosion link up which put a big smile on my face. The new form required eating with a knife & fork due to the amount of pork & vegetables stuffed into the patty but in true Jamaican style, I ate it like a boss with my hands & ignored the bits falling back down to the plate in the moment. I won't lie, the main jerk chicken meal did have what takes to be declared authentic Jamaican food. I will definitely go again. My only strife was the lack of a varied beverage options.
You should really try the loaded patty if you can! Didnt see it on the uber eats menu but it was amazing as a regular from here. If you prefer pork , ask if they can do it with that instead! I like the chicken but the pork is my go to.
I've been here twice & the food is full of flavour. It's a fusion of bajan & Jamaican cuisine. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere of the restaurant is vibrant & unique. If you want to satisfy your cravings, the oxtail & jerk chicken are really good. The pepper sauce is spicy & delicious!
