J'avais eu de bons échos de ce restaurant. Malheureusement, j'ai été fort déçu. La personne qui gérait la caisse était désagréable, elle ne doit pas connaître les formules de politesse.
Au sujet de la nourriture, j'ai pris un'Poulet Jerk', le tout était très sec, ça manquait de fraîcheur. Le poulet était quant à lui goûtu mais il n'y a pas presque rien à manger sur ces morceaux.. très dommage..View more

This review is a bit slanted as I only popped in for a small snack rather than a meal. I'm a mac & cheese lover & the caribbean'macaroni pie' take has always been a beloved dish for me from my years in Toronto. Most carribean restaurants don't offer this dish as it is time consuming to make, & with the few carribean restaurants there are in Montreal this is an especially hard find, although they don't explicitly call it'macaroni pie'. The item was ready suspiciously fast within seconds, so I knew it was just sitting under low heat. After a couple bites, it was evident it had been on standby for longer than it should have been. I wasn't even sure it it was made the same day, it tasted old. The texture was not good. Mushy, but without any creaminess. This would likely be a higher review if I tried one of their plates instead, which I will likely do at the other location just to check both of them out. The service was fine, no complaints there. The place isn't to large so seating is limited.View more

Used to get the Barbadien BBQ chicken plate alot back in the day but I feel since they opened another location the quality of the food has gone down. Tried it a month ago & the chicken didnt taste that great... Price is reasonable.View more

The food was great! The meat was seasoned well, not too spicy so all taste buds can enjoy the dishes. The peas in the rice was cooked soft enough. I had the jerk chicken plate, & bought ginger beer, on the side. Overall, it was very good 👌View more

I live ten minutes away & have ordered frequently & ate on site as well. Inconsistent quantity & quality : It goes from excellent to pretty average (sometimes it's spicy, sometimes it's pretty bland, sometimes the plantain are burnt, the pork a bit chewy etc) but I guess that's the compromise for the wait time that is super short.View more
