A friendly, Bring Your Own Wine restaurant, L'in-time boasts about having the best mussels in town on their menu. A cross between Italian and Mediterranean cuisines, and not shy to bring a touch of Greek and Quebec to certain dishes, the restaurant certainly has an enticing and diversified choice of dishes at affordable prices.
L'in-time comes across as a charming neighborhood Italian spot with an intimate, warm ambiance where high quality, flavorful dishes and generous portions stand out, with house made sauces for pasta and standout mussels plus desserts that offer a pleasant finish, and the option to bring your own wine at no extra charge is repeatedly praised. Service is frequently described as impeccable, attentive, friendly, and professional, with staff making celebrations feel special and recommendations reliably helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, ideal for good company, and the recent Verdun location maintains that vibe with a bright dining room and thoughtful touches. While a few notes mention it can get warm inside and that some entrees are richer or saltier than expected, the overall sentiment centers on consistency, memorable meals, and a strong desire to return and recommend L'in-time.
the food was so good. a quebec twist on pasta & mussels. everything was so delicious. we also had all four desserts & it was hard to pick a favorite. plus this is bring your own wine. will come again
Passed by the place while walking to an event. We had no reservations. It's full but by luck they had space because the reserved table finished early Service is excellent, these 2 ladies are top notch & attentive. Food is excellent. We got mussels & carbonara pasta
I had pasta a la Gigi it tasted very bland with very cooked pieces of bacon which gave it an odd texture, other than that the staff & atmosphere was nice. To your response: Sorry, but no thank you for the gift certificate, when there, the only thing offered was to add something to the dish that tasted awful, I was never offered an other dish, I've also been a long time customer & had never had any previous complaints about the food. I was still charged the plate even tho I only took two bites out of it, so it's not like I ate the meal & complained. Anyways I wish you all the best in your business but that was the last time for me.
This is the best restaurant I have ever been too. I had the Picata Pasta. The sauce was creamy & the mussels were fresh & tasty. The service was THE BEST, it EXCELLENT, OVER THE TOP! I have never had such an extraordinary service. The waitress' name was Marlene (not sure if I remember properly), she was the most patient, attentive, detailed, & kind waitress. 10/10, Perfect! Love it & for sure, I'm coming back❤️
The food was delicious & the service (provided by Camille) was outstanding. We ordered an Athena salad which we enjoyed, mussels Arabiata & pasta Romanoff - fabulous. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We highly recommend this place.

We ate at L'intime for the first time last evening & had a wonderful time. It was fun to sit outside & watch the world go by, while eating delicious, well-cooked food. We had snails with garlic & cheese & two kinds of moules with pasta- highly recommended! Our waitress was efficient & friendly. The cost was very reasonable given the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!
One of the best places in Montreal for mussels & pasta dishes! Never disappointed with the food or service😊 Treat yourself to excellent food & bring ur own wine 🍷
The waitress was very nice but she completely forgot our starter even though she'd told us that we were in luck because it was the last one. We figure it was likely because she was overworked & alone on the floor. She also messed up our bills (no big deal, just a bit of a drag). The pasta dishes were very good but not very hot. We really wanted to like this place because the atmosphere is fabulous, the staff is friendly, the food is good, it's a BYOB, & because it's an independent small business trying to get by during these ridiculous times. It has some work to do.

It wears its name well!... Very cute, intimate setting, quiet, nice for a romantic dinner. Very good marinara sauce, & the pasta carbonara was delicious. Bring your own wine!
All three of us loved this restaurant. The bruschetta bread, pastas & pork dishes we had were phenomenal. Topped off with the best pecan pie ever (I'm not exaggerating). Service was perfect as well.
