Bistro l'Evidence welcomes you in a warm and intimate French-style Brasserie. Located in the heart of Montreal, on St-Denis Street between le Plateau Mont-Royal and the Latin Quarter, this is the perfect place to start the day with a breakfast of champions or to start the evening with quality flavors. L'Evidence offers a complete menu, a la carte as well as table d'hôte. We prepare traditional and healthy recipes with fresh products, regularly varying our table d'hôte based on market arrivals. Enjoy a fresh, original, contemporary cuisine whose variety will appeal to everyone. Our chefs pay special attention to the preparation of dishes that are on offered each day, to ensure that the culinary artworks mingled with the friendly atmosphere meet your expectations, both in terms of quantity and quality. The outdoor terrace in the heart of Le Plateau and the segmentation of the interior room make it an ideal location both for brunch or to organize private and professional events. Je pense que c'est un des plus mauvais brunch que j'ai fait sur Montréal. La nourriture était honnêtement pas top, quantités moyennes, qualité moyenne. La serveuse n'a pris aucune note pendant la prise de commande & a oublié un des plats. Lorsqu'elle amène le reste, elle me dit qu'elle revient avec les pains dorés mais n'est jamais revenue. Au bout de 30min je n'avais plus envie d'attendre. C'est vraiment très bruyant. Niveau prix c'est correct mais honnêtement si vous voulez prendre un brunch allez autre part!

Lovely place for brunch. The staff are often a little overwhelmed but the food still comes very quickly & is always delicious & satisfying. Great coffee great portion sizes. Breakfast potatoes are incredible.

Vera was our server. Extremely friendly & attentive. We liked our fresh OJ, good coffee & well made eggs, bacon & jam. The buttered out toast perfectly. We found the place charming & would certainly go back.

Definitely got what I would consider solid Montreal fare, but the service was particularly lacking. Server forgot something at almost every turn & everything from the coffee to the bill took far too long with a pretty empty patio. There are so many good places you can get good food, the service & attitude here isn't worth it.

Classic menu, nothing memorable. I had the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, too salty. Although it came quickly & it was hot. I liked the oat milk latte they serve. Good place overall.

Lovely brunch, wonderful choices with a heavy & much-appreciated sprinkling of smoked salmon options. The mimosas were great, the service was very good, the coffee kept flowing, & the space was cheery. Will go back next time I'm in town!

Excellent breakfast in an unpretentious atmosphere. Breakfast places are often a huge gamble when in a new city & not something I want to think too hard about in the morning, so when I find a good place, I tag it for potential return visits. Blueberry pancakes were so good & fresh off the griddle. Coffee could be a bit warmer. The menu is quite extensive but not overwhelming. Service is top notch & super fast. This place is tagged.

Mon avis a rarement été aussi tranché, mais quel belle découverte que ce petit resto. Nous y arrivons par hasard pour faire 3 petits déjeuners ( français), & nous recevons un accueil incroyable par Jackie ! & que dire de nos 3 assiettes qui débordent de délices québécois. Pour la peine, nous sommes revenus le lendemain, & aimerions tellement y revenir.
