Super breakfast / brunch spot, especially on a nice day when you can sit on the patios. Eggs Benedict was very tasty & the fruit that came with it was very fresh. You can also get fresh-squeezed orange juice. Highly recommend this place.
I took my mother here for mother's day. I like that they take reservations & service was fast even though it was busy, but the food was not impressive. Even for a simple breakfast place, the basics of my meals were not what I would expect (under-seasoned potatoes, unevenly cooked eggs, hollandaise sauce not very flavourful.) I probably wouldn't go again.
Amazing place, great food, great presentation, not too pricey, the staff is kind & attentive & the place is really cute! I will definitely go again for brunch... Serves mimosa & breakfast until 4pm & as a night menu after.

Lovely place for brunch. The staff are often a little overwhelmed but the food still comes very quickly & is always delicious & satisfying. Great coffee great portion sizes. Breakfast potatoes are incredible.
Excellent breakfast in an unpretentious atmosphere. Breakfast places are often a huge gamble when in a new city & not something I want to think too hard about in the morning, so when I find a good place, I tag it for potential return visits. Blueberry pancakes were so good & fresh off the griddle. Coffee could be a bit warmer. The menu is quite extensive but not overwhelming. Service is top notch & super fast. This place is tagged.

This place is fantastic! Excellent food & service. The best breakfast I have had from a restaurant. Staff is so friendly & fast. Will be back anytime I visit Montreal
Excellent spot for breakfast! Had various crepes, omelettes, & eggs Benedict with my 5 friends, 3 days in a row on our visit. Food & service were fabulous! We tried all the sangrias, & they were awesome, but the rose was best. Falemnderit Vera!!
Consistently good, service was friendly & efficient. The best Latte I've had in a long time, just the right balance of strength & richness. Eggs benedict were cooked perfectly, yolks oozed out & Hollandaise was perfect. Breakfast Florentine crepe was wafer thin & full of flavour. The best potatoes I've had in Montréal, small cubes roasted with herbs.

L'Evidence offers a quaint & friendly ambiance for breakfast/brunch. Green plants & colourful paintings contribute to the decor. Food is tasty & portions are large & reasonably priced. We've been here several times in the past months & the service is always friendly & impeccable.
I must say I've never waited an hour & a half for eggs in my life! I went with 2 friends last Saturday around 1:30 pm. The place was pretty full, but we were seated & had our orders taken straight away. An hour later... Nothing! No coffee refills, no explanation for why the food is taking forever, nothing. We finally signaled down the waiter to ask for more coffee & ask when our food will come. He just brushed it off, pointed at the kitchen & said "it's not my fault". I don't care if it's your fault or not, either figure out how long it'll take or see why it's taking so long. Another half an hour later, I left to put more money in the parking meter, & when I saw back the food had finally arrived. Food was OK, but nothing to go gaga about. Oh, & after the wait the food wasn't all here! My friend ordered a breakfast special that comes with pancakes, but her pancakes weren't there. It arrived separately five minutes after her meal, & it was a pancake, not pancakeS.
It was an overall terrible experience. Never coming here again.
