Bistro l'Evidence welcomes you in a warm and intimate French-style Brasserie. Located in the heart of Montreal, on St-Denis Street between le Plateau Mont-Royal and the Latin Quarter, this is the perfect place to start the day with a breakfast of champions or to start the evening with quality flavors. L'Evidence offers a complete menu, a la carte as well as table d'hôte. We prepare traditional and healthy recipes with fresh products, regularly varying our table d'hôte based on market arrivals. Enjoy a fresh, original, contemporary cuisine whose variety will appeal to everyone. Our chefs pay special attention to the preparation of dishes that are on offered each day, to ensure that the culinary artworks mingled with the friendly atmosphere meet your expectations, both in terms of quantity and quality. The outdoor terrace in the heart of Le Plateau and the segmentation of the interior room make it an ideal location both for brunch or to organize private and professional events. Our Specialties

Très bon restaurant, super service avec Manon, la qualité est dans l'assiette. Nous étions 15 avec 7 enfants & tout le monde y a trouver son bonheur.

We were a large group & they took us with no problem. Our waitress Manon was super friendly & ON IT. She was amazing. Got the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon (arc en ciel) & a mimosa. I love this place & its comic sans storefront sign.

I sincerely fell in love with this place. All the time when visiting Montreal, I come to this place for toasts with apples & cheddar. Today met a very nice waitress, & overall enjoyed the time spent there:)

Un endroit très sympathique pour manger un matin avec des amis & de jeunes enfants. Il y a des chaises hautes & des coloriages. Le service a été rapide & très agréable. La nourriture était bonne. Très bon rapport qualité prix. On recommande pour les parents qui ne savent pas où aller avec de jeunes enfants pour le brunch.

Bel endroit, chaleureux & confortable où on s'entend parler, les plats étaient très bons (quoique les portions inégales d'une assiette à l'autre) & les entrées généreuses. Seul défaut, la musique ne convenait pas au calme d'un souper, mais le personnel l'a aimablement changé à notre demande, un détail. Sinon, belle découverte qui donne envie d'y retourner.

The portions of food were generous, specially the entrees & the starters (soup & salad). The volume of couscous was immense. So the value for money was decent. Much of the food, from the yellow pepper soup through the couscous & carrots to the salmon & lamb, was unfortunately lacking in flavour. The only clear exception was the tiramisu.
