Les Enfants Terribles is a refined yet welcoming spot with an inviting atmosphere and a menu that pleases across a range of tastes. The food earns praise for freshness and flavor, with highlights like tartares, octopus, trout, beef dishes, and desserts such as cheesecake and pouding chomeur. Service is repeatedly described as attentive and professional, with friendly staff and strong recommendations guiding the dining experience. While a few notes mention occasional slow service or value concerns, the overall impression is of consistent quality, thoughtful presentation, and a place that guests are eager to return to for both everyday dinners and special occasions.
I had a wonderful experience at les enfants terribles & would absolutely recommend it. The atmosphere is one of the first things that stands out. The space is beautiful, open, & thoughtfully designed. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light during the day & create a lovely ambiance at night. Inside, the artistic details make the place feel special without being overwhelming, the chalk-style mural with hand-drawn patterns is particularly striking & adds a creative, almost gallery-like touch to the space. It's the kind of environment where you immediately feel comfortable settling in & staying for a while.
I came with friends, & the setting was perfect for conversation. Even though the restaurant feels lively, it's still easy to talk & enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed or crowded. It strikes that rare balance between being energetic & relaxed.
The service was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, & genuinely attentive. The staff were smiling, approachable, & clearly cared about making the experience pleasant. That kind of hospitality makes a big difference & really elevates the entire evening.
The food itself was outstanding. The presentation was beautiful & every dish looked carefully composed, almost too nice to disturb. But thankfully it tasted just as good as it looked. The menu features some really enjoyable fusion flavors: familiar enough to feel approachable, but with combinations that make each dish feel like a pleasant discovery. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared & balanced.
Overall, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Between the beautiful space, the genuinely warm service, & the delicious, creative food, it's definitely a place I'd happily return to.
Had a family birthday brunch (9 guests) for my mom today. There were 9 tables of 5+ guests & only 2 servers. Nothing against the servers, they were very pleasant & tried their best to serve everyone, but it was a loosing battle for them. Waited over 30min to place our orders. Coffee was lukewarm. Had to constantly ask for basics like milk, jam, bread. The restaurant was out of bagels & English muffins? We were there for brunch! Had return the smoked salmon dish as the salmon & onions were dry. Anyways, I've always loved the atmosphere at Enfants Terribles, I'm a consistent customer at Ile des Soeurs & Brossard. But if something isn't done about the restaurant staffing accordingly, the offer isn't going to interest me much longer. Good luck!

We went to eat here for a friends birthday. I explained to our server when he came to take our drink order, after sitting for 15 minutes, that I had food allergies celiacs & an allergy to blue cheese. He assured me they could accommodate no problem. I reminded him twice & asked if he was sure it wouldn't be a problem & I apologized for being inconvenient Another server brought our drinks & when I asked if they were bringing my husbands coke she responded with uh yeah. After she came & asked my husband if he wanted another coke? He never got the first. The waiter (with a bun) didn't come back for thirty minutes so I asked another waitress to let him know we were ready to order, she told him & another 10 minutes went by & we had to go ask if he could come take our order. He was not serving others he was chatting at the desk. Finally he came I ordered the garlic shrimp - very delicious. & then the salad with duck I asked for either a goats cheese substitute in the salad to which he said they couldn't do so we agreed no cheese I explained twice that it was an allergy. My meal came I took three bites & my mouth started to get itchy & my lips started to tingle. One of my friends took a bite & realized there was indeed blue cheese a lot of blue cheese. Fortunately as the hives & itching started a grind had Benadryl. I went to the server & asked him to take away the plate because I am allergic to blue cheese. He said oh would you like another & I replied no because my mouth is now covered in sores just some tea. Noah a young server came to check on me & brought me tea. He apologized & was really wonderful. The sever with the bun (man) came to the table two more times not really apologizing or checking on me even though ones visibly reacting 🤦?♀? he proceeded to not even make eye contact with me. The girls & Noah were all lovely & concerned.
