Super Izakaya! On a visité le Japon à plusieurs reprises donc on opte à tous coups pour le menu izakaya (mais les donburri sont délicieux). Les Takoyaki sont vraiment bons tout comme le karaage & les gyoza. C'est un tout petit restaurant & fait maison. On recommande.View more

japanese-inspired, small, cozy spot in mile end - i had the special-of-the-week don with pork belly nuggets & spicy shichimi mayo sauce. very delicious, strong spiciness! would personally appreciate more vegetable with more acidic flavours to balance out the quality amount of the crispy deep-fried meat. & perhaps the small soup spoon was a bit awkward to eat rice with in a tall donburi bowl (wanted to ask the staff about this but was feeling a bit introverted that day sorry).

They make relatively good food & it had a rather authentic izakaya feel. The rice is good quality & well cooked & they have a good umami mix of flavor in their Donburis. I was a little disappointed that their tonkatsu was not fluffy & a little overcooked to dryness, but at least the bowl made up for that in flavors & quality ingredients.View more

This place was such an amazing experience. We didn't have a reservation (on a Friday night), so we waited outside & finally got a table. The host was lovely; even gave us complimentary drinks to warm us up 🥹. The food was some of the best donburi I've ever eaten, & their hot sauces? Oh you NEED to try them. Boyfriend & I will be repeat customers for sure (& we will call to make a reservation next time 💖)!!!View more

I went for the first time along with my mom & brother & we all loved it.
In terms of cuisine it felt fulfilling, we enjoyed our Takoyaki, Nanami fries, Korokke, Unadon & Gyudon fervently.
The service & employees were all very nice & we had some great conversations throughout our time there. I would enjoy getting to return with other groups of friends there.View more
