cafe(36) milk(29) matcha(28) latte(22) vegan(21) coffee(16) drink(16) cookie(15) options(13) plant(13) study(13) espresso(10)It's a cute cafe with plants & a second floor seating area. I had the mushroom poke bowl which was very filling & an oat milk cappuccino, one of the best cappuccinos I've had.
Beau café, plein de choix, qualite, personnel tres serviable! Les sushis sont vraiment bon!!
Great cold brew! A few years ago, I was doing a lot of cold brew at home, I can notice when it's poor cold brew coffee or just cold coffee. I can tell the Leaves House cold brew coffee is top quality. You can feel the flavor & the caffeine instantly at the first sip!
Have been here a couple of times. Great cafe, especially for vegans. Have tried a couple of their drinks -Cold Brew-Limo, Chai, Dirty Chai, Flat White, Curcuma etc - all great, especially Dirty Chai. Last time, we also tried their Danish & a Veg Patty. Both good. Muffin had a bit of taste of soda & was dry. Plenty of seating space right behind the counters & on the other side of the passage behind that seating space. The staff is great & friendly.
you can't really go wrong when they use a modbar espresso machine (unless the barista is horribly bad, which is ofc not the case here). however, I am not into this plant based idea... if only they could use actual milk to make an actual cortado with such a great espresso machine... alas, such is life, you can't have everything near McGill: either a mediocre drink somewhere else, or an espresso here at leaves house (just a simple but great espresso, forget about the milk part...). pick your poison! of course, this would be a dream place for those to would have preferred oat based drinks at the first place (tbh they are not bad at all, but something about whole milk with a nice espresso is simply irreplaceable). ps: I know, I am not the most eco-friendly person in this world.
This place is mostly for students & group projects.. not really for cafe hoppers. Their matcha yuja was great & Jasmine tea was so flavourful🩷
In from Ottawa & stumbled into LH one Sunday morning, OMG - this location is perfect for everyone every day. Students surly love it & the scones & cookies? Truly a Montreal gem.
Super cute cafe & very student friendly! They have a lot of unique drinks, & the staff were all very nice (& bilingual). Lots of options for alternative milks & interesting flavoured syrups. I heavily suggest the Hojicha Latte! (Didn't get to try any food, oops) A lot of students come here to work, so if you intend to grab a seat- get here early!
Food quality is excellent. I've been looking for the bubble tea but it always seems to be unavailable. The seating area is modern & clean.
The barista Axelle is probably the worst barista I have ever seen. Lmao I dont drink Cofee lol
Chai latte was great & lots of food/pastry options that all looked delicious. The olive focaccia was really good!
The matcha latte is the best & they have a great selection of milks
Love coming here to work! The pastry is amazing & the service is remarkable. 100% recommended. Plus they have some gluten free options!
The Matcha Biskitto is the best amaretti/almond cookie I've ever had! I bought one, then ended up buying the rest of their stock. I wish we had this in the Greater Toronto Area too! 🥹
