Good
Loud music, unfortunately servers don't really pay attention when it's not the evening crowd. Took forever to get a salad, took forever to get water refill, had to wave down other servers to even be acknowledged. Could be better if they paid more attention.
Unfortunately didn't know the rules of this pub/bar. Not advertised online. Walked with my family over 25 mins because of the great reviews. Have been to many in area with no 18+ policy inside with no issues mid afternoon & on a Sunday. Waited for a table outside on the lower patio were teenagers & my kids were allowed to be. Table above available on outside patio on balcony above but that was considered inside? So after 10/15 mins a table became available the hostess didn't remember us staying out there so I sat in a pre used table to not wait any longer in the hit sun with three kids. The server gave us menus & cleared off the table. Order calamari (overcooked, dry & not fresh at all). I had the ceaser wrap with fries & a margarita. Wrap was just lettuce & very little crispy dry bread chicken with over the top ceaser dressing. My husband had a burger & fries, burger was kids size, smaller than a big Mac at MCDONALD'S, & not that great in toppings & fries salty. My son had chicken fingers & over salty fries ( 3 small stripes). My other son had mac & cheese added a few scrapes of chicken on top. Portion sizes are super small & prices are a big on the higher end for the quality of bar food. Not to mention we had to pay full for our dinner even though we weren't done & we were stuck in the down pour of the rain storm & our fries & my drink was washed away by the rain on the patio. At least they allowed my family & I inside the bar to pay our bill & wait out the storm. guessing this place is good for students & happy hours.
It was really friendly & the atmosphere was nice. They had a nice variety of drinks & dishes. Would recommend to any uni student looking for an affordable night out. Just remember: they dont take debit, but they have an atm machine in the restaurant.
On August 18 around 7:00 PM, we were waiting outside for a table on the patio, as the blonde hostess had instructed us to do. While we were waiting, a man arrived & spoke with her. She suddenly gave him the spot that we had been waiting for.
This was extremely disrespectful. We had followed her instructions & waited our turn, yet someone else was given priority simply because he was her friend. Regardless of whether this was racism or favoritism, this kind of treatment is unacceptable & left us feeling that we were treated differently & unfairly.
terrible. absolutely terrible. had 3 different servers, all of them were extremely confused, lost, slow & rude. unorganized, & disrespectful. our glasses were DIRTY. they had floating items in the cups. the service was unbearably slow. the refills took AT LEAST 10 minutes. took AT LEAST 30 minutes for them to order our drinks & an extra 15 for them to even hand them to us. it was hot, it WASNT even busy. our waitress didn't even have a pen & paper, left & came back on multiple occasions to take our orders. when food came, they served us 3 plates (we were six), no utensils, no napkins, & lacking the rest of the meals. we got the rest served approximately 5 - 10 minutes later. the food was cold & unappealing. what a terrible place. it's so bad I wanted to give you a zero, but I can't do that, so I'll give you a one. don't come here.
