This is a quite wonderful Indian Restaurant. We live in Vermont & would visit Montreal on a regular basis. We always made a point of eating at Le Taj. We had not been back for over 4 years due to the outbreak of Covid. We only just visited & of course had dinner there. It was as good as ever, if not even better. We tend to eat Vegetarian which is excellent. I originally come from Scotland & like to think I know good Indian. This is very good. We've being going there for just under 30 years & have gotten to know some of the personnel who are still there! Needless to say, service is excellent. Highly recommended.View more
We visited Montreal with our family & decided to have a nice meal at Taj after a day of sightseeing. The service was excellent, & the restaurant had a classy atmosphere with a special table-side presentation. We enjoyed shrimp curry & vindaloo,which were all delicious.View more

Allés à 3 un dimanche soir; avons été stressés pendant tout le repas: pas le temps d'étudier la carte, assiettes débarrassées avant que les 3 personnes aient terminé, pressés de commander les desserts, & le pire: relancés par 3 personnes pour que nous nous dépêchions de payer & de partir!
Nous sommes sentis chassés sitôt le repas terminé, une usine!
Service impersonnel, plats posés sur la table, jamais offert de resservir de l'eau, avons dû demander plusieurs fois.
