Dance floor was energetic & the DJ knows how to please a crowd. I also made a few new friends. & free cover! I recommend this place over Unity / other places in the area.

really nice gay bar, lots of bears & cheap drinks. Food is good too. great place to socialize or just dance if the night is right. favorite time to go for me is Saturdays, they open the upstairs room & play 80s mixes
Great gay bar in the Village, dance floor, karaoke nights, excellent DJ'S & friendly staff.
The kitchen,' Le Resto' serves up great fast food, fabulous burgers & sandwiches but whatever you order do not get a Galvaude, it was the worst I ever had, first of all the sauce was thick almost like molasses, like it had been heated up for like 3-4 days & the chicken was very dry, plus they use a spicy chicken which should not be used in this plate as it destroyed the taste totally & it also took a half hour to get it, terribly SLOW service & they make you pay your order before you even see your plate & of course you leave your tip at that time, it's too bad but it was awful 😞

Nous avons été très satisfait de notre expérience au Stud. Nous ne sommes pas de Montréal & il est certain que nous y retournerons, le dj Samedi & dimanche étaient vraiment bon. Les gens étaient là pour s'amuser & l'ambiance était vraiment bien.
Les employés au Stud me traitent mieux que dans les saunas. Je jouais au billard avec mon ami lorsque un étranger est venu perturber notre jeu & il a eu le culot de voler son verre d'alcool ! Il n'arrêtait pas de draguer mon ami & me regardait avec mépris (Je suis transgenre). Mon ami & moi l'avons dénoncé à la direction, croyant qu'il était parti mais non, il était au 2e étage alors ils l'ont barré du Stud. C'est dommage, j'ai essayé d'être diplomate avec lui mais j'ai échoué. Merci encore au Stud d'avoir réagi. À Toronto, je me faisais critiquer & personne n'a bougé. Il y a encore beaucoup de transphobes misogynes chez certains homosexuels. 🤷?♂?🤷?♀?
Stud is one of the few relics of gay clubbing still standing today that hasn't gone under or been taken over by straights. For many gays, it's their version of Cheers, the bartenders & bouncers remember you, the usuals are always chatty. It's a men's bar but hags & lesbians are always loved & welcomed. Cheap drinks, a great place to meet new people. Saturday is always packed with the second floor being open.
If you make it early enough that the kitchen is still open - amazing nachos & some of the best onion rings in the city!
Au Stud, peu importe votre âge, votre origine, votre habillement, votre orientation, il y a une joyeuse ambiance où tout le monde se mélange sans discrimination. C'est ce que j'ai toujours aimé du Stud (vive la différence).
I have been to stud several times. Had good times there. The atmosphere is really sketchy… I have had my drinks stolen several times while I was dancing
