The cold has arrived & so has FORCED COAT CHECK & BAG CHECK. ridiculous in every way. No other bar forces you to do this.
Also, bartenders need to learn what a whiskey on the rocks is. Not 2 shots of whiskey in 2 shot glasses. 🙄
Taking my business to Aigle Noir as it's just less of a headache.

Neat little hole in wall (no pun intended). Drink specials were decent. Found it a little odd that bareback porn was playing on loop in the background. Cash is the only form of payment accepted. The bartender Aniken was the nicest guy, really handsome & friendly.

Great dance bar & mostly a regular clientele although the music is repetitious on a down side that's what you get when you have a younger DJ Let me be the DJ one weekend & you will hear more blast from the past great hits its mostly Madonna Celine Dion Whitney Houston that same gay male song with Dancing Queen included as to what the above floor is all about with full hysteria like they're listening to it for the first time lol

If your queer mind is free of judgment, this is your bar. It's a fantastic place to dance, with all kinds of gay tribes sharing the same space - connecting, integrating, & just having fun. Bring cash, as electronic payments aren't accepted (a bit disappointing if, like me, you hate carrying cash). Dress however you like - leather, latex, jeans, or just your underwear - & enjoy yourself!

Excellent spéciaux pour le resto! On mange pour pas cher ! Argent comptant sûrement aux bars mais les prix sont meilleurs qu'ailleurs dans le village. Promotions avec jetons pour spéciaux à l'achat de deux bières avant 21h. Il y a une table de billard & du karaoké en début de semaine.

Je dois donner un mauvais review au bar stud qui se situe juste a cote de chez moi, j'y vais souvent vers 2h du matin pour prendre un bon verre qui est toujours bien fait par les barman super gentil & je joue au billard jusqu'à la fermeture. Jamais aucun problème. Cependant ce soir j'y ai ete avec mon amie pour prendre un verre & jouer au billard comme a l'habitude. Mon amie est sortie a 2:44 pour fumer une cigarette & lorsqu'elle est arrivée pour sortir, un employé est arrivé pour barrer la porte lorsqu'elle est sorti & lui a dis qu'elle ne pouvait plus rentrer si elle allait fumer sa cigarette. Nous venions tout juste d'acheter 2 verres que nous avons pas pu commencer car il ne voulait plus la laisser entrer parce qu'il voulait barrer la porte . Je répète que nous sommes des habitués de la place & qu'il était encore juste 2:44 du matin. Je ne connais aucun bar à montreal qui ne laisse plus entrer leur client qui vont juste fumer une cigarette bien avant la fermeture. & l'employé nous a envoyé promener lorsque nous tentions de comprendre pourquoi mon amie ne pouvait plus entrer a 2:44. Très décu de cette expérience

really nice gay bar, lots of bears & cheap drinks. Food is good too. great place to socialize or just dance if the night is right. favorite time to go for me is Saturdays, they open the upstairs room & play 80s mixes

The kitchen,' Le Resto' serves up great fast food, fabulous burgers & sandwiches but whatever you order do not get a Galvaude, it was the worst I ever had, first of all the sauce was thick almost like molasses, like it had been heated up for like 3-4 days & the chicken was very dry, plus they use a spicy chicken which should not be used in this plate as it destroyed the taste totally & it also took a half hour to get it, terribly SLOW service & they make you pay your order before you even see your plate & of course you leave your tip at that time, it's too bad but it was awful 😞

Les employés au Stud me traitent mieux que dans les saunas. Je jouais au billard avec mon ami lorsque un étranger est venu perturber notre jeu & il a eu le culot de voler son verre d'alcool ! Il n'arrêtait pas de draguer mon ami & me regardait avec mépris (Je suis transgenre). Mon ami & moi l'avons dénoncé à la direction, croyant qu'il était parti mais non, il était au 2e étage alors ils l'ont barré du Stud. C'est dommage, j'ai essayé d'être diplomate avec lui mais j'ai échoué. Merci encore au Stud d'avoir réagi. À Toronto, je me faisais critiquer & personne n'a bougé. Il y a encore beaucoup de transphobes misogynes chez certains homosexuels. 🤷?♂?🤷?♀?

Stud is one of the few relics of gay clubbing still standing today that hasn't gone under or been taken over by straights. For many gays, it's their version of Cheers, the bartenders & bouncers remember you, the usuals are always chatty. It's a men's bar but hags & lesbians are always loved & welcomed. Cheap drinks, a great place to meet new people. Saturday is always packed with the second floor being open.
If you make it early enough that the kitchen is still open - amazing nachos & some of the best onion rings in the city!

Gay bar in the Montreal Village, the go to bar for locals & tourists alike. You start up somewhere else & you end up at the stud . Friday & Saturday hot spot with dancing , additional retro bar opens on Saturday night upstairs. Attracts all genres, with theme nights every now & then for leather & bear afficianados. Snack bar ( limited hours) , very friendly staff. No cover.

Ambiance de feu ! Bon service ! Bons spéciaux J'adore ce bar, autant le lundi que le vendredi *Clin d'oeil au petit Dj du dimanche soir en début de soirée! Excellent à chaque fois de par ses mixs vibrants ! Bravo :) Merci le Stud, ca fait du bien d'aller chez vous.
