Also not sure why this place has a 4.9 star rating? Generous portion for the chicken schwarma & rice, but lacking seasoning & tenderness.

Requested the schwarma platter (to go) & only once we got to our destination (an hour away) that we discovered the order was incorrect. The tabouleh salad we requested was replaced with a beet salad (which was not very good - had no flavour) & the broccoli salad we requested was drowning in a mayonnaise type dressing with no seasoning.

Not sure how the order was mixed up? We ordered 20 minutes before they closed & there was only one other guest in the restaurant when we got there so they weren't busy. It was disappointing.

Best spot for Shish taouk I've come across in a long long time, had some kafta which was also great. It was a couple more dollars than the other places but totally worth it for the quality/service.
Whenever I'm around & in the mood will make the stop 👍

Honestly, my expectations were much higher, regarding a 4.9 rated arabic restaurant. As a middle eastern who eats shawarma almost three times a week, I found the mixed shawarma plater of this restaurant low in taste & quality. In addition, the salad was a disaster. I barely could eat half of it. It was generally tasteless. The turnip was the worst part, because it wasn't salty nor sour. It tasted like a raw turnip.
I live in Ottawa, & I'm not local to Montreal. So, I can't compare it with other similar places in the city. However, quality of this 4.9 star place in Montreal, was comparable to a 2 or 3 star restaurant in Ottawa.

Le service était catastrophique, ils ont tellement radins pour quelques patates & même pour les portions de salade.
La nourriture est la même comme partout dans les fast-food libanais, fad & aucun goût.
C'est rendu du Gaspillage d'argent de manger dehors maintenant, vive la bouffe de chez soi
