Honestly, my expectations were much higher, regarding a 4.9 rated arabic restaurant. As a middle eastern who eats shawarma almost three times a week, I found the mixed shawarma plater of this restaurant low in taste & quality. In addition, the salad was a disaster. I barely could eat half of it. It was generally tasteless. The turnip was the worst part, because it wasn't salty nor sour. It tasted like a raw turnip.
I live in Ottawa, & I'm not local to Montreal. So, I can't compare it with other similar places in the city. However, quality of this 4.9 star place in Montreal, was comparable to a 2 or 3 star restaurant in Ottawa.

We had an amazing dinner 🍽? at Le Shish Taouk. We ordered two plates of Shawarma plate & a pop to drink. We choose mixed - Beef & chicken (picture attached). Great quantity & it was very heavy, luckily we finished it 😉 The food was fresh, yummy, tasted good & a nice presentation. The service was awesome & the staff were friendly. The restaurant was very clean, hygienic & well organized. There was ample of space inside the restaurant. Worth visiting this foodie place. Will definitely come again to try something else from their speciality.

I think I found my new best Shawarma place in all the grand Montreal area 😍
Fresh ingredients. No fillers or extra grease in the meats chicken & beef & no overwelmeting spices to cover the lack of freshness.
The garlic sauce is very balanced & did not give me a heartburn like in other places.
Not to mention the impeccable cleanliness of the place & the great service.
I am very happy I stumbled upon this place. 10/10

Great set up but food can be better along with the service.
Shawarma kinda dry & could use improvement.
Gentleman on cash seemed bored & had 0 desire in explaining their menu.
There 50 shawarma stores in the city. You spent a large amount on decorating the place so your food & team needs to do better to stand out.

Suite aux avis positifs sur Google, je m'y suis rendue mais ce fût une déception.
Les épices étaient trop fortes & le plat contenait beaucoup de gras.
J'avais commandé une assiette shawarma que je n'ai pas pu terminer, malgré le fait que j'avais très faim.
Je trouve également que le prix est élevé.
