Had visitors from Quebec city on saturday seeing that have not been to this restaurant we decided to try it. Two of us had two full lobsters & the other couple had a seafood plate with rice. The food came for the lobster we found it like rubber & for the seafood plate the rice was burned to the plate that it came in. It also smelled badly burn't. The waiter was advised but the plate was not changed for a new one & for the price it should of been & you just do not serve burn't food to a customer period. The calamari was very small & over breaded. For the waiter he gave excellent service but for a $60 sea food plate it should have not been charged due to the fact it was burnt to the plate it came on will not be returning.
Très bon fish & chips (25$), tout était délicieux. Ambiance Maine ou Gaspésie de jadis, musique rock 50-70, banquettes d'église peu confortables. Oui, à l'occasion ...

Ça faisait un an que je n'étais pas allé, un peu déçu de mon assiette pâtes aux fruits de mer, belle assiette mais la sauce rosée était vraiment pas à la hauteur elle aurait besoin d'être rehausser à mon goût
Beau concept & cuisine de qualité. Chaque bouchée est une réussite pour les yeux & les papilles. Les employés sont gentils, efficaces & rapides. Super expérience!
C'est petit & on est beaucoup entassés. Le stationnement est vraiment petit & il est difficile de se garer. Côté cuisine c'est moyen. Pour une personne qui cuisine beaucoup on se rend compte que la qualité n'y est malheureusement pas. Il manque d'assaisonnements & les portions ne sont pas assez généreuse pour le prix de l'assiette. Il y a place à l'amélioration.
Restaurant correct, sans plus. Beaucoup trop cher pour se que ça vaut. Si vous aimez manger les uns tassé contre les autres, tourner en rond pour un stationnement, alors allez-y.

The Shack has been a favorite place of ours to eat delicious fresh fish for many years. Unfortunately, today the food was not at the high level of quality we have been accustomed to. The calamari were definitely below the quality & taste expected, they were thickly covered in a lot of batter, were dark & rubbery. The French fries were soft, we had to return & ask for another order. It feels like the oil may need to be changed for both. The cod in the fish & chips was watery & bland. Not at all our memory of the quality we've had in the past. We chose to go in the afternoon after rush hour to celebrate a birthday so there is no excuse that the kitchen was too busy. The price would be good, if the quality of the food was up to par to what we have known. The ingredients may be of good quality but the love we felt in the food is missing. The service from Sandy, our waitress, was excellent.
Une excellente cuisine pour les amoureux de fruits de mer, un service impeccable dans une ambiance authentique rappelant un shack des Keys de la Floride!

Absolutely delicious!! The Louisiana calamari was outstanding The fish & chips were perfectly cooked & crisp... easily the best I've ever had The crab legs were basically melting in our mouths Very pleasant experience & we are counting the days we go back
Première expérience avec les mets de ce restaurant. L'extérieur me rappelle les restaurants des années 70-80 par sa configuration, l'intérieur a un cachet unique, tout de même étroit mais chaleureux. À cette occasion j'ai commandé pour emporter mais j'aurais aimé l'expérience en salle. J'ai pris les fish& chips & black shrimps. Bonne portion & délicieuse. Sommes toutes une belle expérience à refaire!
