Food was delicious, hot & healthy. Great value meal & generous servings. Their fish & chips with lemon & fennel (Panko citron & fenouil) may have been the best fish & chips I have ever had.
Le Shack du Pêcheur Express shares the restaurant space with la Belle Province, a hamburger & fries operation. The dining area is common, & they each occupy half of the kitchen counter where food is ordered. I should have taken greater note that by far more customers were ordering from the hamburger side. I ordered a vegetarian Poké bowl & found it ho-hum. I have only had one other Poké bowl & found it lacking as well, so maybe I just do not like that particular dish. My wife ordered the Greek salad. Now, typically, you have to hunt down the four or five black olives in the salad. This one had what looked like at least half a can of black olives dumped on the top. The feta was in tiny diced cubes & had little taste. The rest was some bits of pepper & maybe some lettuce. The olives were way over the top & my wife could not finish it. However, my son said his order of fish & chips was good & the piece of fish was big. Bottomline, if you go there, take the fish & chips or join the crowd at la Belle Province.

Fish excellent, rien à dire. Organisation du service à l'heure du diner, pitoyable ! Une jeune fille au comptoir côté fish à faire la cuisson & service au table pour plusieurs clients, souriante & professionnelle. Côté hot-dog, même propriétaire, 3 gars au comptoir, zéro service au table, moins de clients & pas un qui aide la jeune fille à servir les clients. Trop bas pour eux d'aider une jeune fille ?
Oufff ! Je viens de déguster une chaudrée de palourdes & des calmars frits DÉLICIEUX. Ce sera certainement un de mes arrêts obligatoire sur la route maintenant. Wow wow wow! Le service amical, l'endroit & salle de bain super propre vraiment j'ai adoré. En voyant l'assiette de ma voisine de table, je n'ai pas pus résister, j'ai pris un fish & chip pour apportez.
We've been craving fish & chip like crazy & options are kind of limited in the area. The reviews for this place had me doubt it would hit the spot, but it was delicious. Got the london fish & chip for 21$ & the batter was light & fluffy, the fish was flaky & delicious. The tartare sauce was very good & the portion of fries (nice brown - fritoune style) was generous. I came in with low expectations & came out full & happy.
Situé entre le Subway & La Belle Province, ce resto offre un menu rapide pour ceux qui ont envie de morue / crevettes / homard. Nous avons opte pour le fish & chip panko croustillant & la poutine crevettes bang bang (sauce sucrée & épicée). Un fast food maritime. Bien aimé!
