Belle ambiance chaleureuse( animations en chanson & effets de lumières pour les anniversaires surprises),

& les portions sont copieuses (fish & chips, morue à la plancha) & la cuisine est excellente. (Très bonne cuisson du poisson)

C'était notre première visite à se restaurant. Le repas était bien & notre serveur très gentil heureusement. Notre mécontentement est plutôt au niveau du boss qui avait un attitude hmmm arrogant. Je m'explique ma mère à fait la réservation pour essayer se resto & parce qu'il y avait une soirée Tarot. Comme il n'y avait pas de tarif pour le Tarot elle croyait que le 15 min etait gratuit mais la dame demande 20$ content. Je regarde la publication Facebook il ne parle pas du tout d'argent comptant à avoir sur soit. Notre serveur bien aimable demande à son boss qui lui vient à notre table & nous dit j'ai envoyé un texto pour vous dire d'apportez de l'argent j'ai rien de gratuit ici la! Ma mère bien gentiment lui dit qu'elle n'a rien reçu & en riant il lui dit « Bin c'est que TU la pas vu la plutôt » pour qu'il réalise qu'il a bel & bien omis de donner l'information à ma mère. Puis il poursuit en disant avec un ton arrogant « c'est pas avec un fish & chips que je vais faire du profit y a rien de gratuit ici la» & nous a invité à aller retirer au guichet AVEC FRAIS à côté. Pour la madame nous sommes allés mais Hiiiiiiiiiii que le gars je ne l'ai pas aimé.
Un gros merci à notre serveur qui a désamorcé la situation par la suite. Ce n'est pas tout le monde qui on le savoir être pour offrir un service respectueux malheureusement.
Des oublis ça arrive mais svp ton attitude & le respect VOUS

Ce n'était pas notre première fois. Mais ce soir, service médiocre, veille huile, pas d'essuie mains, pas d'eau chaude dans les salles de bain & fish & chip trop cuit. Bref, on ne retournera pas
We had a lovely dinner for our first time at the Shack.
We had Cajun ship & grilled octopus for the entree. Everything had perfect texture & well seasoned.
The fish & chips were so fresh, flaky & tender. The spaghetti pescatore had generous amount of shrimp & scallops.
We're considering the seafood tower next time, will definitely come back.
Shout out to our waiter Mathieu, you were attentive & patient, truly elevating our dining experience.
Une découverte, souper excellent fish & chip, assiette fruits de mer & chaudrée de palourdes. De plus, animation d'un chansonnier qui nous a fait dansé sur nos chaises.

Les portions sont généreuses assez dispendieux en contre partie pour les repas a la carte.Option de mega plateau est à conseiller finalement.
🌟Leur huitres sont seulement 1$ le vendredi & la petite sauce au vin a mettre dedans est vraiment sa coche les employés étalent sympathique ont va revenir.
Thursday evening with no reservation we had quickly a nice place to sit. Appetizers & drinks were served fast. We really like the appetizer. Great start. Then our dishes arrived. Tuna with rice & fish & chips.
Nous adorons ce resto! Les rondelles d'oignons sont tellement bonnes! Le fish & chips est aussi très bon. Nous aimerions en avoir un sur la rive nord de Montréal! Nous devons traverser le Tunel pour pouvoir nous régaler…

First time at this restaurant Friday.....Let's start with the food & it's issues. FISH & CHIPS.....Portion size was good....But the batter was very oily & not hot & crisp.....Reason? The frying oil was not hot enough at what should have been 350 & 375 Degrees.....Therefore the fish & batter were not hot, but oily & warm.....
FRENCH FRIES....Same problem here. Fries were not crisp & fresh, & instead were limpy, luke warm, & tasteless. Again....they should fry them at a higher temp....Also the fries are very dark &'burnt' looking....
Many customers have mentioned this for years but no change.
CEASARS SALAD.....Presentation was like in a school cafeteria.....Very bland & thrown together with no imagination.
OCTOPUS APETIZER.....Hard as a rock....barely edible....
COFFEE.....A standard cup of coffee came ice cold....we told them to take it back & give another.....It was a little warmer but black as from the bottom of the pot.....
There was no manager to found to fix it....& the waitress said'Well I guess that's from the bottom of the pot....(& laughed)....
SHRIMP COCKTAIL....Mine had warm shrimp & was bland.....
SUGGESTIONS....This is a Seafood Restaurant supposed to be specialized in Fish & Chips & other Seafoods......Therefore it should be excellent with a high standard to quality.....I just didn't see it......
Listen to your customers when they say your fish batter is not crisp....& your fries are of a poor quality......& if you have a Manager he should be on top of things & maintaining a high standard.
The lobster bisque was amazing! Unfortunately we got a bad cut of bavette & had to have it remade. The panko fish was very tasty but the batter is too heavy. The oysters were perfect. But maybe don't order steak at a fish restaurant.
