The service lacked attention to detail so it wasn't on the same level as the food. Adam was kind & professional & took great care of us from the kitchen. I had the veal which was a special, & the crudo was delicious.View more
Best restaurant we ate at in Montreal. My husband had the duck breast & he said it was one of the best things he's ever eaten. The server went above & beyond for our family. My only nit to pick was there was only one scallop in the scallop risotto...but definitely recommend to other foodies!View more
There will be no surprise in my review...
Le Serpent was simply fantastic!
The food was hmpf ! Delicious. We were a group of 6 people, & we all loved our different dishes.
The service was impeccable, with a friendly waiter & smiles all around.
This restaurant intrigued me since its opening because of its industrial ambiance, & I'm glad that I got to try it.View more
Food was very good. Portions were ok… but service was insane!!
probably the best i've had for a while !!! 6star service. I think adding some music & adjusting the lighting would help a lot.View more
Positives:
Strong & authentic cocktails
The appetizers( grilled octopus & lobster) were nice but main course was bland & just ok.
Negatives:
We waited 25min just to order & another hour to receive our order. It seemed like there was a problem in the kitchen as no table around us received their order. Despite we mentioned, the delay was not acknowledged & there was no apology given.
The worst part was the noise. We were not even able to hear ourselves.
Overall not pleasant experience & I don't recommend this restaurant.View more
I went here with a group of friends & it was an absolutely wonderful time. The food was exceptional. We shared some fried zucchini, oysters & Burrata Beef Tartare & I had the Bucatini. The tartare was outstanding. The Bucatini was a fantastic dish. The pasta was perfect & had a good chew. It was savory, a tad spicy & very flavourful.View more
The service was excellent. They were able to suggest good vegetarian options. the food was delicious.View more

Love the high ceiling & industrial vibe. Amazing desserts!View more
The meal was the highlight of our Canada trip. We loved the location in an old factory that whilst open with soaring ceilings was well laid out so that it wasn't noisy. We started with the asparagus & zucchini flower specials followed by the venison & pasta, with tiramisu to cap it off, accompanied by a nice bottle of red. The food was superb, the colours & flavours of the asparagus with the dill dressing & prosciutto the standout. The tiramisu was simply decadence on a plate. Service could not be faulted. Definitely recommend visiting if in MontrealView more
Disappointing experience to say the least. Our group came Saturday night & ordered a bit of everything from the menu. Crudo & linguini were quite enjoyable. Everything else fell short or was surprisingly bland & underwhelming. I have never had such a forgettable night in terms of food, especially when one would expect the complete opposite from this type of restaurant. Nothing was'really bad', but nothing was really good either, yikes..
Octopus was tough & chewy, average taste. Cod & venison were a'meh'. Rabbit tart was intensely salty & rich, one-dimension, & not much of a tart. Bucatini was okay. Spaghetti was weird - pasta only tasted like lemon & the sauce at the bottom was bland, could not taste the clams, the garlic or any flavor really.
Both desserts were disappointing - the ladyfinger part of the tiramisu was too wet, making it a liquid mess that only tasted of espresso, & the chocolate, hazelnut & vanilla pastry was just average. Everyone felt like they were not worth eating & that we should have skipped dessert.
Portions were small & price was way too steep to justify such boring flavors. The people working there were nice, but cannot make it up for such a forgettable evening. Will not recommend & will not return.View more
Portions are terribly small. We had the octopus as a starter. It was passable at best. Main courses were also small. Luckily, I am a woman & I went with my 14 year old son. I can't imagine that a grown man would have been happy with portion size. We had the dark chocolate mousse for dessert. It was ok at best. I will not be returning to this restaurant. There are much better places in town on my opinion.View more
Arguably the best meal I've had in Montreal as a seasonal resident. Ended on an awkward note because the service was so slow that we ultimately didn't get dessert, but everything to that point was immaculately detail-oriented, prepared with care & bursting with flavor. Short rib was killer. Branzino was fully de-boned & topped w amazing morel mushrooms. Zucchini flowers stuffed with cod as the appetizer was elite. This place has a Michelin star coming in the future. Interior is industrial+minimalistic with cool art.View more
Un excellent restaurant situé dans Griffintown. La décoration industrielle est magnifique, la nourriture est délicieuse, le cocktail à la coriandre est sublime & le service d'Eric était impeccable! Nous y retournerons assurément!View more
A bientôt !View more
