About us
Le P'tit Plateau Restaurant is one of those little neighborhood bistros that have built up a large clientele over the years with their personal touch. The menu offers regional French cuisine. We accept groups of up to 30 people for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday. Upon request only. For birthdays, we can make you a cake, ask us by phone or email.
The first service between 5:30pm and 6pm at the latest so that the tables of the first service are released for the second service at 8:30pm the latest.
Please note that for any group of more than 8 people, a deposit will be required.

I wasn't impressed with the foie gras appetizer. But our entrees (venison & duck confit) were tasty & good portion. It's a small shop, & the single waitress gets busy serving multiple tables. Overall, good food, reasonable pricing & nice service.View more

First, this is a BYO restaurant. There is a wine & liquor store about a block away on the way from our hotel. We ordered an eggplant appetizer & tomato basil soup as starters. Main dishes were venison, salmon, lamb shank & cassoulet. This may have been the best venison I ever had. The other dishes were also delicious & prepared with changes as requested. The chocolate dessert was also very good. Sorry about the out of focus venison but you can see it was medium rare. Lastly, it is a tiny place with only one server who was amazingly efficient & friendly.View more

I loved this French restaurant. Bring your own bottle makes it enjoyable & affordable. Superb quality & menu. It is all about the food. Make a reservation, it is necessary. Parking on the street is not easy but Metro station is an easy walk away. The 15 hour braised lamb shank was incedible. 2 of us had dinner for CAN $97, including tips & taxes. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre repas. Le cassoulet que nous avons mangé était savoureux. La cuisse de canard & le magret étaient généreux & parfaitement assaisonnées. Notre dessert, l'ile flottante était incroyable également. Malgré une crainte en raison des derniers commentaires négatifs, nous avons passé une magnifique soirée. Le service était impeccable & nous avons eu la chance d'échanger beaucoup avec notre gentille hôtesse! Le restaurant propose des portions généreuses, mais a mon avis la qualité des saveurs ne correspond pas tout à fait au prix demandé. La présentation des plats pourrait être améliorée, notamment en ce qui concerne les accompagnements tels que les haricots verts, l'aubergine & la purée de patates douces, qui semblent submergés dans la sauce, le canard manquait de goût. De plus, le service est assez lent, même pour simplement demander l'addition , des erreurs dans les commandes, & les factures.View more

Wonderful experience. We loved the cozy ambiance & fantastic service. The food was very good & while we didn't bring any wine, the closest store was close by & an easy fix. Coming from a city where the trend is loud music & shouted conversation it was very nice to experience a quieter atmosphere & really enjoy every moment. We'll definitely come again - would like to try everything on the menu!

Service moyen, la serveuse ne nous a jamais demandé comment nous trouvions nos plats & n'est pas revenue pour nous reservir de l'eau. La soupe était plutôt épaisse & semblait être un consommé de champignons avec beaucoup de fécule de maïs. Le foie gras en entrée était très bon. La cassolette de fruits de mer manquait de finesse. Les queues de crevettes étaient encore sous le gratin & la sauce était trop grasse. Moi qui y allait pour ce plat, le cassoulet était décevant & servi en assiette déconstruite (cuisse & haricots à part). Celui-ci avait des grains de maïs & des pois verts avec les haricots, ce que je n'avais jamais vu. Il n'y avait que deux tranches de saucisse & très peu de lardons. Le tout manquait de sel. Ma femme a pris le magret & la serveuse n'a jamais demandé la cuisson. Les à-côtés étaient très ordinaires & manquaient de finesse. En dessert, la crème brûlée était bonne, mais la portion était petite pour le prix. Somme toute, nous n'y retournerons pas. La cuisine & le service laissaient à désirer.
