What a delightful ambiance. What WONDERFUL food. Every morsel on every plate was devoured. The Armagnac prunes with ice cream for dessert is a "must have". My husband & I dined with friends, & each of us had the same reaction. "Yums" to every course. I highly recommend Le P'tit Plateau. I can't wait to go back again.
Wonderful experience! The service was attentive yet not over bearing (we always had water & bread). The ambiance was warm & inviting. The food was great - true French dishes that were well executed. The great part is it is BYOB which makes for good value at the end of the night. Would highly recommend & look forward to going back!
Fantastic service, the food was impeccable & well rounded. Would recommend highely. Hopefully this place stays under the rada
Every bite delicious. Splendid ingredients. Flawless preparation. Attentive & friendly service. What more can one ask?
I have eaten here 4 to 5 times in the last 12 to 18 months. The food is always very good. Service is great. Highly recommended.
Excellent & classic French food in a cozy & unpretentious atmosphere. This is one of my Montreal favourites! Great location in the Plateau off the main streets. As a bring your own wine, it is great value for money. Highly recommend!
Le P'tit Plateau is a very charming destination. Interesting combination of ingredients; beautiful presentation. Service was very attentive. Dinner was excellent. BYOB is a big plus.
Merci & a bientôt.
Charming, friendly, professional & delicious, do not miss this restaurant.
We attended this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary & we had a great meal, professionally prepared & served in a charming setting. It is in an area where there are not a lot of restaurants so we approached with some trepidation which disappeared instantly upon entering. We were greeted warmly & shown to our table. It is a BYOW establishment & our server immediately brought over an ice basket for our white wine & uncorked both bottles.
It is an open kitchen so you can see the chef & cooks working their artistry. To start we had cream of carrot & parsnip soup, which was wonderfully seasoned & amazingly smooth that we gobbled up & wiped our bowls with slices of the delicious French bread. We followed that with an appetizer of grilled thin slices of teriyaki duck breast DELICIOUS.
We both had as the entree a special of marinated hanger steak served with mushroom & sides of green beans, potato gratin & purée of cauliflower. The flavors, presentation & service were all fantastic. Portions are properly sized, neither too large nor too small. For dessert we had what turns out to be their speciality croustillants Gaston's with Armagnac ice cream & delicious coffee. The dessert was amazing.
The price point is very fair for the quality of the experience & professionalism from everyone, it was a great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
