This is a true hidden gem. I stopped in during a walk around the historic district & was instantly won over by the warm, vintage atmosphere & thoughtful curation of local Quebec products.
The coffee is exceptional, rich, perfectly pulled espresso with beautiful latte art, made with care by friendly baristas. I paired mine with a fresh pastry & it was the perfect mid morning treat. It's more than just a café, it's a delightful little épicerie too.
Super photogenic inside & out, with a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. Perfectly located near Notre-Dame Basilica & Place d'Armes. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place nails it on quality, service, & charm.
Highly recommend! One of my favorite stops in Montreal.
Super friendly girl behind the counter!! I loved the vibe of this cafe & all the options. Their soft serve strawberry ice cream sunday was so good!! Tasted like fresh strawberries & vanilla!! They have a lot of food options grab & go style also. Nice rest stop after visiting the basilica next doo
Great little shop. The food is very good. Coffee is great. Love the vibe. Definitely check it out.
Been here a few time & the one in quebec to, great food drinks & vibe, a lovely place to come (plus my daughter loved the jellycats 😃) 5 🌟
Best ube coffee with almond milk & lavender syrup! Not too sweet at all. Just right & perfect. Smoothie named Chill was great too.
Let's of local snacks. Nice vibe & staffs.
This cafe is super cute & has a really cool kitschy design. It has a bunch of antique furniture & just a cool eclectic vibe overall. It's also half old timey general Store. So they sell a lot of cute food stuffs & souvenirs.
We ordered an iced coffee & the giant Oreo. Unfortunately, the giant Oreo although extremely intriguing was a bust. The cookie was so thick & so dry. It did taste like it was made with black cocoa so it did have that Oreo flavor but we literally had to take off the top cookie to even render it edible at all. The cream was good & it helped. But I'm so shocked that they had that for sale because I would be hard pressed to believe that anybody liked the sandwich as it was sold.
The ice mocha was good but we got it in a paper cup & the paper cup was starting to disintegrate.
Exact atmosphere I was looking for. Canadian French vibe with delicious crafted cappuccino & pastries with a relaxing seating area to enjoy the treat.
Come by alone to read, meet with a friend, or business meet.
I like their coffee & the vibes however I decided to get a matcha this time & it was the most mediocre matcha I've ever had. Paid $8 for a drink I had to throw in the sink 😣
Dec2024 A new wave of cafes that have both sides on the past & the future. These cafes are communal spaces that are trying out more specialty coffee concoctions & modern menu trends & incorporating more functions to customer experience like adding retail & small grocery sections while still having some old world charm & cozy homey vibes. This chain has a number of outlets which suit well the Old Town motiff. The food is wide & offers all types from takeaways to cafe dine ins ie short meals. Coffee is standard & suits well the season. Service staff are young, casual & cheerful. Layout is cozy, tight, & communal much like a town pub or a small bistro.
Le Petit Dep at St-Sulpice doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, it's a whole vibe. They've got cupcakes, ice cream, coffee, water-literally everything you need. Super chill spot with that European, homey feel. We grabbed a swirl ice cream this time, but definitely coming back for the cupcakes! Service with a smile.
