J'ai trouvé ce petit café par hasard, & je suis contente de m'y être arrêtée !
L'ambiance est calme & agréable, les différents lattes offerts sont vraiment intéressants.
I remember my mom dropping me off at home (i live right next to it) & the owner of the cafe came up to us & started yelling that we cant park there. We literally were there maybe 20 seconds. We didn't even finish putting blinkers on. She was genuinely so upset at us & started fighting us. (I had lived here for 5 years, she barely opened up her shop so I thought that was confident of her to do) actual Karen movements. She was clearly stressed but that was my first impression of her cause I knew exactly who she was. She continued having a short attitude whenever it was her that served me.
Regardless, her coffee tastes great & im thankful theres a spot super close to me when I need my fix.
It is slightly over priced coffee/food compared to other cafes in the area. Or in montreal in general. But none of her items will leave you disappointed at least. Think 7-8$ just for a small lavender cappuccino.
I do not recommend going there if you intend to have a quiet place to do work. (Maybe try going early morning) as it is veerrryyyyy tiny & busy due to the metro.
Plain food, but good food. I usually get the filtered coffee. That costs about 5$ with tax. I highly recommend the grilled veggie sandwich. (& thats coming from a meat girl! Lol) actual grilled asparagus in it so good lol.
The owner also refuses to speak English with me. (English people know what i mean by that) but otherwise her workers are kind as usual.
Other than the weird experiences with the owner I still give this place 3 stars. Doesn't wow me, but functional cafe that im thankful to have next to me!
Was looking forward to trying out this place, but unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. The cafe itself has a nice aesthetic & looks very clean. The service was very nice too!
I got the raspberry matcha. It comes with homemade raspberry purée, but the raspberries were bitter… not a sweet drink at all. The matcha itself is not flavourful, the whole drink just tasted like milk. The last photo is a photo of how much I threw out. 9,48$ with taxes, for a drink I threw away. Very disappointed!
Super expérience, les cafés sont excellents, les melanges de cremes glacées aussi. L'ambiance est agréable & le service encore meilleur. Je recommande fortement !!
This cafe is nice. It's small but there are a couple of tables so you can enjoy a drink & a sandwich peacefully. They have good matcha & the tuna sandwich is good too! It's near the de l'église metro as well so you can grab & go.
Matcha is excellent, lots of fun variations on the drink which I appreciated. Will try more this summer for sure. The space is unique & youthful but to me feels it missing something to make it a cozy cafe to spend hours in! Missing more food/ bites options.
