I had reserved this place for a birthday afternoon tea with friends. The tea & food was good. I rarely write reviews. However, the service, to my surprise, was really a bad experience. There was an older & a younger staff. The older staff didn't hold the teapot steadily & hot tea went on my friend. Fortunately, it went on her sweater & she was not burned. The staff said she said sorry but none of us heard that. We noticed that instead, she was wiping her menues instead of making sure my friend was alright. We didn't say anything the first time. However, this happened again & she dropped tea on my other friend. Her white shirt got wet & tainted from the decoloration of the chair's color. This is when I confronted them about this as it is not normal to drop tea on guests but instead of being sorry , I find that they were finding excuses, telling me'this is the first time this happens (talking about the chair decolorating on my friend's shirt) & when I mentioned to them this is the second time this happens & that the older staff didn't excuse herself for dropping tea on my friend, the younger staff answered'these things happen, we don't do it on purpose' & we could heard them afterwards talking about us behind us. I don't understand how you can be right & give us attitude after what happened instead of some apologies. At the end, the service & attitude of the older staff switched & she became nicer. What was initially a good experience turned out to be a bad experience.
This was such a nice experience. The ambiance is so pleasant & the owner & our waitress were very kind! The afternoon tea was delicious, seriously, every part was good. The tea was great, I recommend the peach & apricot! I loved how the place was decorated, it was so cute. Definitely a place to remember & come back to
It used to be one of the few popular spots serving English afternoon tea 🫖. The taste was just okay, but it was nice for dates. Nowadays, there are so many better dessert options around.
Had a great time! Service was excellent, & they accommodated my allergy well. Call in advance & book a reservation! Tell them then if you have dietary restrictions. Sandwiches were tasty, excellent selection of tea, cozy atmosphere & tasty scones! I was impressed especially by the gluten free scone, best I have had hands down- & warm out of the oven!

Wonderful atmosphere & ambiance. The food is especially delicious. What I appreciated most is their accommodations to our dietary restrictions. They have Regular afternoon tea, Vegetarian, Vegan, Lactose free & Gluten free options! It's always best to call in advance to let them know of this!

A classic for english tea. Must reserve & there are quite busy so you should call more than a week in advance for weekend spots. Thats the reason for 4 stars.
We recently visited & can't recommend it enough! This charming tea house is an incredibly cute & intimate place that instantly makes you feel at home. The gorgeous décor, adorned with an array of beautiful teacups, & a warm ambiance make it a perfect escape from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. It truly feels like stepping into the cozy living room of an old British home, which is exactly the vibe we love. On this perfect fall day, sipping tea here was an experience to cherish. The selection of exceptional teas was impressive, & each one was brewed to perfection. The scones were delightful-light, fluffy, & served with delicious jam & cream that complemented them beautifully. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy. An ideal spot to meet for any type of encounter, whether it's catching up with a friend or a more intimate conversation. The comfortable setting encourages meaningful dialogue, & I left feeling both relaxed & satisfied. If you're looking for a cozy tea house, this is definitely the place to be!

The food & tea were delicious, albeit too pricey even for the area. The scone, foie gras & panna cotta were out of this world, the sandwiches a little less exciting. We were told that people who reserve are expected to order one platter per person. However note that its not really possible (in my experience living in the area) to get seats without a reservation. We would have been fully satisfied with smaller platters or sharing, that's what we were expecting from a tea house actually. After telling us this, the owner complained to us that her employee was late, which I found odd to mention to customers. We've been excited to try Le Parloir for a couple years now, which is why we now feel a little let down.
We had a lovely time having afternoon tea. Sylvie, the owner was wonderful & kind. The food was not only delicious but I love that they offer a gluten free menu, also vegetarian & vegan too! Will absolutely be back!
Went with a large group & had a wonderful experience. Everything was delicious, the tea selection was impressive, & the space is beautiful. They were able to accommodate a friend with a number of dietary restrictions without issue, which was highly appreciated, & were super friendly.
