Je remettrais plus les pieds ici.
Je me suis présentée à 8h30 am pour faire du teletravail . Ca ouvrait à 9 am que la fille au petit dep m'a dit. Alors. Jai attendu 25 min au petit dep en mangeant un croissant ( on m'a clairement mentionné de pas ouvrir le laptop au petit dep. ) à 8h50 je monte en haut au loft. 9h05 cest encore fermée. 2 filles montent & de ce que je comprends cest que l'employée ne s'est pas presentée au travail. Elles descendent
Font des appels. Remontent. & me disent que le loft est fermé pour la journée ( car ils sont short staff l' été) mais que je peux travailler au petit dep. Je répond que le son est très fort au petit dep ( espérant quil vont accommoder & réduire le son pour la journée). Elle merepond : oui. Cest ca l'ambiance au petit-dép ( contrairement au loft ). Mais que je peux payer 10$ heure pour avoir une salle privée. .... non merci. manque d'organisation. Communication. En arrivant a 8.30 . On m'avait pas dit que ce serait fermé. Jai pris mes affaires & mon laptop & je suis partie au crux cafe . Moins compliqué. Un bon 40 minde perdu.

I came here thinking that I could spend the day working because, after all, it is a'coworking cafe', happy to find a place where I could get coffee & bring my own lunch. In fact, I would happily pay $20 for the right to do this.

& yet... Some things that make this impossible:
1. You can only use your laptop upstairs, not in the cafe (which is much nicer & what they're using on all the promo pictures).
2. You cannot bring your own food anywhere on the premises. Not even in the coworking area.
3. The wifi quality is not great.
4. The coffee is really quite bad.

I literally had a conversation with the person at the desk where I said'so essentially I am paying $7 to open my laptop upstairs' & she was like'yes basically'.

J'allais prendre un café & travailler à cet endroit de temps en temps.. maintenant il charge un frais pour utiliser notre ordinateur.. assez décevant

It's one of my favorite cafes in Montreal! The staff is so nice, coffee is pretty good & the vibe is immaculate!!

This is a gorgeous quiet space that is absolutely ideal for a chunk of high concentration work. I come from a distance on the bus just to get here. The $7 entry fee for the day is more than fair given the unique experience. Wishing you all the best!

Je suis passé aujourd'hui. Je trouve ça pronfondément insultant de me faire charger 5 ou 7$ pour le'bénéfice' d'y être, sans même savoir si la nourriture & le café seront bons.

Really wanted to like it. The space is cute, but considering they charge an entry fee, the prices for mandatory food purchases are outrageous. I got a caesar salad that was absolutely disgusting (white-ish lettuce, swimming in dressing, thick panko breaded) it I couldn't even eat it. cost me $28 with tax & tip (not to mention the coffee & entry fee I paid when I arrived). Paid over $40 total for the day.

My friend also got an egg sandwich that was nasty.

A higher base price coworking space with free food like anti cafe is a way better deal. Not worth it.
