About us

A small bistro located in Villeray at the intersection of two side streets (St-Dominique and Guizot—hence the G) Restaurant Le Coin G is always a popular spot for lunch or dinner. On the weekends they also serve breakfast and brunch, but every day features new chef's specials with interesting ingredients, to keep people coming back for more. A lively bistro occupying a small space, Restaurant Le Coin G is both unpretentious and boisterous. The menu offers a great variety of options, from sandwiches and burgers to pastas, hot and cold appetizers (try the escargots or the crab cakes), salads, fish, the sausage du jour, pork, beef and more. The chef's specials are always appealing and vary from day to day, so you may have to make this a regular stop on your culinary journeys. On weekends, Restaurant Le Coin G adds breakfast and brunch options to their menu and caters to the more laid-back brunch crowd. Of course, since nobody's in a hurry to leave, this just means you'll have to wait a bit longer for a table. Luckily, they're open late and there's plenty of art on the walls to keep you occupied while you wait. In the summertime, check out their small terrace for an even more laid-back vibe.

J'y suis allé à deux reprises & j'ai adoré ça a chaque fois & je me promet d'y retourner!
Les déjeuners sont excellents & la table d'hôtes aussi.
Très propre , superbe terrasse!
Le service est fait avec courtoisie & le sourire aux lèvres!
Les pris sont raisonnables!

La table d'hôte du midi offre des choix très variés, le service est attentionné & une jolie terrasse donnant sur une rue peu passante permet de profiter de l'été.

Súper service & la nourriture est bonne. J'ai adoré la truite en table d'hôte ainsi que le tiramisu. La serveuse était très arrangeante, je recommande à 100%

Charmant resto, bon rapport qualité/prix, table agréable sur la terrasse & bons plats pour le menu midi. Malheureusement, un conflit est survenu entre notre serveuse & un autre membre du personnel (elle a quitté précipitamment). Même s'ils sont restés discrets à ce niveau, personne n'est venu nous servir après ce moment & nous n'avons donc pas commandé notre thé/café inclus dans la table d'hôte. Cela a terminé notre charmant repas sur une drôle de note...

La pizza chèvre, tomate cerise & asperge était peu garnie & décevante d'autant plus qu'il s'agissait du menu à la table d'hôte.
La qualité du service était bonne.

Excellent restaurant de quartier, très animé. Le saumon de la table d'hôte, les hamburgers, les frites, le dessert étaient tous très bons. On y retourne c'est certain!

Resto fort sympathique,
Personnel courtois.
Pas bruyant même si le reste affichait complet à 95% vendredi soir.
Le risotto au poulet était délicieux & quelle bonne idée d'offrir, en table d'hôte, un mini verre de vin à 3$; n'étant pas amateur de vin, cela me convenait tout à fait.
Je recommande ce resto.
