Always great food, perfect cocktails & wine pairings, attentive service & great atmosphere. Much more than an excellent neighbourhood restaurant, each return visit is like coming home (ok... well, coming home when you've got a chef's brigade in the kitchen, experienced mixologists & everyone is smiling & taking care of you :)).
View more
The perfect dining experience. Service was friendly & attentive. The dishes were inventive & flavorful. You can feel the care & artistry of the chef's team. Highly recommend!View more
My partner & I got the tasting menu at $100 each. The food was tasty overall although nothing blew us away, & we found the "parisa" tartare & tuna balls in tomato sauce lacklustre. We personally felt that the ingredients, presentation, & creativity fell somewhat short of the cost. The chocolate dessert was the standout dish for us, & the service was very attentive & professional.View more
A Montreal'Must-See' & a Plateau staple. The food is always interesting & fantastic. The cocktails are simple, but they nail the classics. Staff is extremely professional, but friendly, charming, & attentive. A great spot for a cozy date night, or groups that want a robust tasting menu. Cannot wait to go back!View more
Below average for those kinds of prices. It's good, nothing's bad, some items look like they're on the menu just to bump prices (gold leaves...), some combinations look like they're here just to try to give a twist, yet nothing stood out. A week later I'm struggling to remember exactly what I had. Even on the menu some price gaps don't make sense. Why is a plain duck magret with potatoes 25$ more than a hanger steak? Apparently waiters are told to open new bottles without telling you when you run out. The target audience is people that want to impress by spending way too much on food popularly classified as luxury, but can't cook themselves. If money is no object to you, it's decent, though it wouldn't be my first choice.View more
Everything was fantastic & we cant' wait to visit again. We live in NYC & this was one of the most refreshing & delicious meals we've had in a long time!
Amazing food & service! Every bite was bursting with flavor & the ingredients were thoughtfully combined. Fine dining food in a casual/bar type setting.
Average food for way above average prices. Good for you if some people are ready to spend 300$ more on a dessert just because you added gold to it. I guess the target was people that don't care about money & think "luxury food" has no price the same way they buy 10$ handbags for 2000$ because they have a logo they know.
Who decided that the duck magret served with actual potatoes should cost 25$ more than the hanger steak? I doubt it cost more than 1$ more in the plate. Either this or the waiter made a terrible job forgetting to explain to us that this duck was raised & massaged by monks in which case the waiters failed to explain us.
Those prices might be acceptable if the food felt really creative & unique but it really felt like steakhouse food. Decent meat, decent sauce, decent sides, nothing memorable.
