Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Toujours un plaisir de faire un retour au source. L'idée des crevettes cocktails à 1$. . Le service, impeccable comme toujours. Le seul bémol était le tartare de boeuf. Sinon les gnocchis, escalopes, desserts, vino. Tout était à point & juste. #rocktheboat
Serveuse vrm gentille & repas délicieux. On était sur une genre de terrasse couverte & il pleuvait donc on ressentait un peu l'humidité tout en ayant un genre d'ambiance entre 2 (pas une ambiance terrasse mais pas une ambiance d'interieur non plus Malgré ça, c'était vrm une belle soirée

So in addition to the fact that the staff in general are just rude & make u feel that they are doing you a favor to have you eat in their restaurant!!! Which I do not know why people are even accepting this type of treatment, but im gonna teel everyone the story of our amazing waitress . I ordered a bottle of red wine since I saw the table next to us, & they had those nice big glasses. So when our bottle came they brought us smaller wine glasses & when i asked the waitress why is that ...listen to the response & you be the judge , she said: " It is because THEIR BOTTLE IS MORE EXPENSIVE & IT NEEDS TO BREATH MORE" . So, in addition to the fact that she thought that wine is good only if it was more expensive, which shows that she has no idea what she is talking about . This is like her calling me cheap! So i would say that a good courtesy & training would take that place a lot of places .
The food really left something to be desired. The fish they served was rotten. Many people weren't feeling well after.The rest of the food was subpar... I would never go back.

Nous y sommes allés avec la filles de ma conjointe qui nous a fait decouvrir l'endroit. Nous étions assis au comptoir du bar. Wow, nous avons été très bien servis & conseillés. Merci à Vincent & Hugo. La nourriture est delicieuse & succulente. Je le recommande.
L'expérience était incroyable. Les cocktails à bon prix nous ont ravis, surtout les brochettes d'agrume en décoration. Décoration rien à dire mise à part le file des lumières sur table qui n'étais pas dans son tubulaire. Ambiance génial La nourriture était très satisfaisante surtout après une grosse journée à pratiquer sont swing. Ça remonte le moral de ne pas avoir réussi à atteindre le 250. Valet parking très communicatif qui nous a aussi indiqué où aller se stationner puisque nous ne sommes pas fervent de la monarchie. Je recommande fortement
Restaurant & bar/club avec possibilité de manger au comptoir du bar ou à table, que ce soit à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. Le plat était copieux & très bon, tout comme les cocktails. L'équipe était serviable & à l'écoute du client. J'avais choisi la pieuvre grillée aux asperges rôties, cependant, il n'y avait pas d'asperges. Étant donné que c'était la fin du service en cuisine, je peux comprendre qu'il manque certains ingrédients, mais il est préférable d'en avertir le client au préalable. À part cela, l'expérience reste agréable.
Bel endroit & musique agréable mais tabourets très inconfortables. Extrêmement déçue de mon plat : le boeuf braisé était très bon mais accompagné d'une petite quantité de pommes de terre en purée & de seulement deux morceaux de légumes ! Mon plat s'apparentait davantage â une entrée qu'un plat principal. Quant au service, c'était très ordinaire & expéditif. Cet endroit est vraiment "over rated".

This place is excellent. The valet parking is a nice touch. Service is very good. Food is even better. Keep in mind, this is a pricey joint. My favourite is the charcuterie board & the octopus.
This place is a gem! The drinks are very well made. The wine selection is very diverse & the food menu is very good too. The oysters are excellent, best I've had so far. As for the service, they take care of the clients for water refils, & asking how is everything often. The ambiance & the all around atmosphere are great. The decoration inside is awesome & the configuration of the space & seats makes it a cozy place to talk & enjoy food with a loved one or friends without being disturbed. There is a karaoke downstairs also. Will be back.
