Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Une ambiance tranquille (mardi soir), un super serveur, merci pour cette belle soirée qui était pour fêter les 12 ans de notre fille. Je l'avais indiqué dans la réservation & nous avons eu droit à des attentions offerts par la maison ! Merci, nous reviendrons certainement .

Tout étais parfait, notre serveur était très gentil & venais nous voir régulièrement afin qu'on manque de rien. La nourriture excellente comme a l'habitude 🤤
Tout était excellent: les huîtres, l'assiette de charcuteries/cheese, les huîtres, le jaret (miammmm la sauce, les huîtres (encore oui!!).....le vin & les churros.

I had an amazing time! The private room was really nice & the food was really good. When I arrived I was told that the Karaoke was not working but the waitress who was assisting us figured out a way to fix it & I really appreciated it!
The only thing I would say is the staircase going down. I feel as though it is too dark because as I was going down them I missed a step & fell. I severely hurt my ankle & unfortunately cannot walk & needed to go to the hospital. If I had one recommendation it would be to have more light at the stairs as the other guests mentioned the same thing as well.
Overall I am so happy I decided to do my birthday at Le Boating Club & I would 100% come again!
Came after the spa Finlandais for a quick bite, we were lucky to be served by Liane! She was great, very attentive & always present when you needed her. Very smiley & made the experience even better! We had the soup of the day, red cabbage & potato, gnocchi , burrata, & fried halloumi salad. We even indulged on the Sunday promotion for cocktail shrimp one dollar each! We ended the evening with a creme brûlée. Just delicious. No complaints here! Love the ambience & will be back soon.
Je suis un client régulier des #JeudiBoating & c'est toujours agréable de venir prendre un verre ou manger des huîtres avant la soirée à jaser avec un peu de tout & de rien avec n'importe qui ou surtout avec le personnel attentif & souriant vous êtes toute bon la gang lâcher pas je recommande l'ambiance est superbe
