Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Always an amazing dining experience at the Boating Club. We came for husband's birthday & were pleasantly taken care of by Leanne (sorry for the spelling). She offered an amazing dining experience, from food & wine suggestions to being super attentive. We had oysters, tuna tataki, braised beef & seafood orecchiette pasta. Been coming here for years & always an amazing dining experience.
Excellent restaurant. Les boissons étaient superbes, rafraichissantes & bien balancées. Les plats, parfaits & goûteux, le gâteau aux carottes, un délice décadent. Le service était impeccable.
Deux bémols, le stationnement est voiturier seulement, sinon, on nous réfère à un autre endroit plus loin introuvable. Puis, nous avons eu une mauvaise table, très mal placée.
J'ai été deux fois avec un groupe dans la salle privé en bas, l'experience est vraiment agréable. Très bon service, excellente nourriture pour un prix raisonnable, on peut choisir notre musique, on avait la salle toute la soirée avec le karaoke en fin de soirée.

We were visiting from Toronto & chose this restaurant because it was close to our Airbnb. We drove up in pouring rain & the valet parking was a really nice welcome surprise. From the time we walked in, the atmosphere & service was incredible. Every dish that we ordered, appetizers, mains & desserts was amazing . The cocktails were also excellent! Looking forward to returning & trying different dishes whenever we're back in the area.
J'y suis allée dans le passé à deux reprises, sans problèmes. J'ai appelé à 21h55 pour demander si la salle à manger était toujours ouverte pour les huîtres (J'ai bien spécifié les huîtres j'appelle tout le temps les restaurants concernant ce que je veux sur le menu avant de me déplacer). La dame au téléphone m'a dit
que oui, que la salle à manger ferme à 23h00. Je suis arrivée là-bas à 22h20, le jeune homme ne m'a pas assigné une table, il m'a dit de tout simplement rentrer & m'asseoir où j'en ai envie. Un groupe de 3 hommes derrière moi ont été assigné une table & on reçu un menu (probablement uniquement pour des breuvages) avant moi. Ils ont reçu leurs breuvages après quelques minutes. Après 10 minutes d'attente, je demande à un serveur si c'est possible de moi aussi, recevoir un menu & une serveuse. Une serveuse est venue à ma
table pour me demander si je voulais un verre, je lui ai donc demandé pour les huîtres & elle m'a dit qu'ils n'offrent plus d'huîtres à partir de 21h00. Je trouve ça vraiment irresponsable venant du staff de donner les mauvaises informations aux gens qui prennent le temps d'appeler. Je m'y suis rendu en Uber. Un total de 50$ d'Uber pour rien. Vraiment décue. ( j'ai remarqué dans vos anciens avis que lorsque les clients vous laissent un feedback vous prenez ça comme une occasion pour argumenter avec eux publiquement au lieu de prendre le feedback comme des grands & améliorer votre service de travail. Je ne suis pas là pour argumenter donc merci d'avertir votre staff de donner les bonnes informations aux clients qui prennent la peine d'appeler)
Le boating club could be a very interesting experience with a few caveat.
The food is well made, tasty & plentiful.
They use fresh & good ingredients, with seasonal additions & adapt their menu for the season.
The service is very good.
Where the place falls apart is in the atmosphere department. It gets noisy & busy & they try to manage that by raising the music volume which adds to the overall chaos.
They handle gluten-free people, but vegetarian beware, they have most pestacarian options but they have no purely vegetarian main.

J'adore cet endroit ! Chaque fois, c'est un vrai plaisir : l'accueil est chaleureux, le service attentionné, & la nourriture toujours délicieuse.
La recette du martini Pistachio, par Sébastien, le barman, vaut à lui seul le détour - un vrai coup de coeur!!!
Je recommande sans hésiter.
Nous étions deux, dimanche soir pour un anniversaire de naissance.
Les huitres étaient délicieuses, le boeuf braisé aussi.
Le service était excellent. Merci pour avoir offert la tranche de gâteau pour l'occasion. C'était une gentille attention.
