Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Some recurring caveats include noise and bustle on Fridays and Saturdays due to DJs and crowds, occasional delays during peak times, and occasional miscommunications about menus or dietary needs. Parking is mainly valet or street nearby. The staff are repeatedly credited with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism, helping create memorable experiences and often going the extra mile for celebrations. Taken together, Le Boating Club is viewed as a standout option in the area for quality food, strong service, and a vibrant atmosphere, with the caveat that it can be loud and busy at peak times.
Bon service & belle ambiance. Les banquettes en tissu sont très sales en terrasse & mériteraient être changées. Même chose pour les serviettes de table dont le tissu fait de la mousse blanche sur les vêtements noirs. La bouffe était moyenne. L'endroit est bien pour sortir & prendre un verre mais si c'est pour une sortie restaurant, il y a beaucoup d'autres restaurants dont la qualité des assiettes est meilleure selon moi.

For our first visit to Le Boating we sat on the very zen terrace & enjoyed tasty mocktails, followed by crab cakes, swordfish & braised beef, & finally for desserts, the Milles Crêpes (spoiler - there are three) & carrot cake. Everything was exceptionally delicious & artfully plated. What a hidden gem in St 🌹 Rose
Notre serveuse/barmaid Léanne était très attentionnée. Je suis coeliaque & elle m'a très bien conseillé sur ce que je pouvais manger. Elle a porté une attention particulière à ma situation ce qui a été très apprécié. Tout ce que nous avons mangé était délicieux.

Nous avons célébré les 40 ans de mon mari (une fête surprise!) au Boating Club dans la salle privée & tout s'est déroulé à merveille. Le service d'Audrey a vraiment fait la différence : souriante, attentionnée & présente tout au long de la soirée. Nous avions un menu de groupe à partager, & j'avoue que j'avais un peu peur qu'il n'y ait pas assez… mais au contraire, les portions étaient tellement généreuses que nous avons même rapporté des restes à la maison!
Petit plus qu'on a beaucoup apprécié : nous avions le contrôle de la musique & des micros, ce qui nous a permis d'improviser une séance de karaoké 🥳. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour cette belle soirée. On recommande sans hésiter!
Espadons & huîtres du Prince Édouard succulent, Service A1 des serveurs aux boss boys! Belle terrasse chauffée au besoin!

This place was AMAZING I recommend a thousand times. The food was 10000/10. The whipped feta was to die for especially with the hot weather. The gnocchi OMGGGG we got two plates & we'd go back for these in winter for sure they were DELICIOUS. The service was so nice everyone kept checking on us & making sure we were satisfied. I'll be going back for sure
Première fois que je m'y rendais, j'y suis allé avec des amis. passé une belle soirée, repas excellent, belle ambiance & service exceptionnel. Je vais y retourner c'est certain.
