Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

J'ai réservé un mois d'avance, je me suis retrouvée avec une table placée en plein milieu des tables de groupes. Un peu decue. Cela dit, la nourriture est bonne mais pas excellente pour le prix autour de 250$ pour 2 avec boisson plat un peu fade. Belle terrasse. Belle ambiance.
Nous étions 5 personnes pour fêter une anniversaire de naissance. A l'arrivée nous avons été accueillis par le service de valet qui ont pris en charge nos automobiles.L'ors de notre départ on a remarqué qu'un des valets ne savait pas du tout comment arrêter complètement une automobile électrique. L'automobile électrique à rester allumée tout le temps de notre présence au restaurant (2h45). Résultat,nous avons été obligés d'aller passer 2 heures à une borne de chargement. Pourtant nous avions une charge de 40% à notre arrivée.
Maintenant le repas, Nous étions 5, 2 ont pris l'assiette pour 2 de Tomahawk (125.00$), les autres on pris l'assiette de canard, L'assiette de macreuse de boeuf & l'assiette de faux filet,le tout avec comme entrée d'assiette de charcuterie/ fromage à partager entre nous tous. Nous avons également pris du vin & du Scotch. Facture totale de plus de $500.00 avec excellent pourboire.
Pour l'ambiance & le service nous donnons un 5 sans hésitation, c'était un bon moment que nous avons passer.
Pour la nourriture, l'assiette de Tomahawk e
est arrivé après plus d'une heure d'attente complètement tiède. Il était dur à manger, comme si la qualité de la viande laissait à désirer ou que la cuisson à été très mal fait.Les autres repas correct mais tout le monde à manger très tiède. Quel désolation pour un souper de famille pour fêter un anniversaire de naissance. C'était notre deuxième visite à ce restaurant & sa sera notre dernier.
Food was great it was the first time I was eating inside I usually eat on the terrasse but yesterday it was pouring so it was so nice to be in & I really enjoyed the ambience of the place !
Always a fun night out at the Boating Club! Food is amazing, staff is friendly, place is clean & with the circumstances of covid.. it's was in all a great experience for a much needed night out with friends in a king time 😊
