Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Le service n'étais pas accueillant, courtois & rapide la nourriture était excellente , mais ce fut très long avant de recevoir nos repas
Really nice experience! Food was great, delicious! Portions were a bit smaller than I would have liked for the price. They also seem over staffed: the bus-boys were circling the tables like vultures waiting to pick up our plates almost right as we ate our last bite. It got a bit annoying after a while.

Went for an anniversary dinner. We were seated at a bar-top table right at the entrance with constant traffic. When we asked to be moved to another table, we were seated at another bar-top table; tiny thing with chairs that were very uncomfortable. Food was average nothing that would bring me back to the restaurant. needless to say we didn't even stay for dessert, couldn't wait to get out.
But, if you are looking for a lively 5 à 7 this place is perfect. Atmosphere was fun & lively.

Stationnement moins évident, déjà qu'avant c'était difficile
Valets très polis.
Bemol: Je n'avais pas la place demandée, même elle a été disponible pout toute la durée de ma visite

Une référence à Laval. Des plats raffinés à partager, ou pas ! & une ambiance décontractée. Toujours aussi délicieux avec en prime un service sympatique & efficace.
Food was DELICIOUS! The restaurant itself is lovely, but my only comment is that the noise level was a little too high. Regardless, we had a fantastic evening! 5 out of 5!
