Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Some recurring caveats include noise and bustle on Fridays and Saturdays due to DJs and crowds, occasional delays during peak times, and occasional miscommunications about menus or dietary needs. Parking is mainly valet or street nearby. The staff are repeatedly credited with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism, helping create memorable experiences and often going the extra mile for celebrations. Taken together, Le Boating Club is viewed as a standout option in the area for quality food, strong service, and a vibrant atmosphere, with the caveat that it can be loud and busy at peak times.
Beautiful place to host small events or for a date night. The staff is absolutely amazing & the food is out of this world. You NEED to try their braised beef, it's the best I've ever had.
We rented the Salon Privé & it was really nice to have our own spot for a familial birthday party where kids were welcomed. Though they dont have a kids menu, we were able to find something to their liking. Plus there's karaoke!!
Nous avons célébré l'anniversaire d'une amie. Nous avions le menu de groupe à 65$. C'était tout simplement délicieux, nous avons manqué de rien & le service était impeccable!

Tout était wow! Repas avec de très bonne portion. Menu du 31 décembre préétabli avec choix de changement pour les contraintes alimentaires. Service impeccable! Soirée magnifique. Très bruyant à partir se 20h00. Parfait entre 17h00 & 20h00 pour la jasette & s'entendre.
Can get a bit noise cause there are DJs on fridays & saturdays. Good service the staff is super friendly & efficient. Food is AMAZING! 🤩 had to scrape the plate with the gnocchi creamy sauce! Little pricey overall but you get what you pay for.
Also no parking but valet service available. You can easily park on the streets on the other side of the boulevard.

Team Christmas dinner with close to 50 people. The menu items were on big platters to be shared, & it was good & plenty. Would definitely come back. Just a little loud with the music, so hard to hear each other without shouting.
This bar is amazing it's suitable for all ages & the food & cocktails are amazing but it is always so crowded. Djs are ok but the music is not the type to make you dance, it could be better.

Toujours une superbe expérience culinaire au Boating Club Laval ! L'équipe est d'une accueil remarquable & ça se voit que chacun aime réellement ce qu'il fait. Merci pour toutes les petites attentions qui ont rendu notre soirée encore plus agréable. Bravo à toute l'équipe !
I had been here for a work even & it was so good I had to go back. We had mussels, beef tartare & it was excellent. The oyster & burrata as entree were also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive but also let us enjoy our meal. It's a great space that unique with its open kitchen & friendly vibe.
