The americano was too big, too watery & scalding hot. The cortado was just a coffee with milk. The pain au chocolate was bad we didn't finish it.

One time went here during Covid & my friend got a croissant & said'want a bite?' & instead of taking the croissant from her I just bit the croissant like while it was still in her hand anyways fast forward 3 years & we still go to Laurel all the time & have a chuckle about that crazy day it was crazy! Good chai & you'll almost always run into someone you kind of know but not enough to say hi so you'll end up just staring kind of at each other the whole time.

this is an excellent spot to work or study. Their coffee’s are great. The atmosphere is quiet & they have ambient music quietly playing in the background, definitely recommend.
